First, I highly recommend reading the book "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" and to begin attending local La Leche League (LLL) meetings before your baby has arrived; pregnant moms are very welcome to attend, learn and ask questions at these meetings. If you would like to do some on-line research, you can start here:
www.kellymom.com An awesome mothering/parenting and BF resource!
http://www.naturalbirthandbabycare.com/how-to-breastfeed.html (a couple of videos to learn more about BF)
http://www.promom.org/101/ (101 Reasons to Breastfeed)
http://www.llli.org/ (world wide authority on breastfeeding; you can also find local LLL meetings here too)
We wish you the best of luck in learning to nurse your baby. It truly is the best foundation you can give them in life, emotionally and health-wise. I know that sometimes problems with BF can arise; there are many resources to help you with these problems and the above should help plus you can always ask experienced BF moms here on this forum. We hope you'll join us to discuss the many joys (and challenges) of breastfeeding!
