What would he think of theories bounced around here - Since he says its 50/50. ;)  Think he might think we're all scamming ourselves as well? Happy Wink

The big difference between IG and pay for sights is IG has everything for free.  On ingender you aren't waisting 100's of dollars for theories that are already free.

I wasn't meaning to compare 'other' sites to IG...just wondering if this doc gives any credence to ANY low tech means of gender swaying, kwim?  I understood that he felt that gender was about 50/50 and that is why these sites were scams, kwim?  Thinking he might think we're all a bit nutty. lol.

Sham... Mad Furious

I bought one of those kits where you pee in a container with powder. kind of like a drano test I suppose..I guess I can't say which company.  The kit only costs about 35 bucks, so I figured what the heck.  I did the test at 11 weeks (it recommends doing anytime from 10 weeks on).  I followed the directions exactly, and the result was dark green, which said I was to have a BOY.  I have a 16 year old daughter, and am re-married and due Feb. 1 '09.  I was really excited to see it could be a boy, and my pregnancy is SO completely different than it was with my daughter, so I thought it might be a boy because of that also.  I also have been to just about every website for gender prediction charts, calendars, etc. and they all said BOY.  I also took primrose oil tablets a few months before I conceived and did all the recommended things to conceive a BOY.

I was surprised at my 21 week ultrasound last week to discover there is the 80% chance (the tech said) that it is actually a GIRLSurprise again.

The baby looked healthy which is, of course, the most important thing....however I am just a little frustrated that I have wasted so much time, money and energy and heard nothing but BOY up to last week.   I was hoping to have one of each, as this pregnancy was hard on me (morning sickness, emotions, etc), and although this will be a first child for my husband, I really don't think I want to go through it again..

My point being...buyer beware- don't let the gimmicks fool you!

I bought and used GenSelect.  This was several months before finding In-Gender website.  I am 14 weeks pregnant but don't know if it worked yet.

I will say this, I don't know about all of these kits, but Gen-Select uses most of the "sway" methods I have found on here for ttc.  Timing, diet, supplements and changing your ph.  It was just all in one kit.  I feel that I spent way too much money on it since the only advantage was that all of this was in a box with clear instructions.  I could have done all of that with more of my own research, but I'm glad I swayed and I hope it worked anyway.

I hope the concepts behind the kits work. I am doing the research and want to "sway" (I guess is the popular term) so that we can have a girl. I have two boys so I hope the "shettles" thing helps.

The kit I bought online did not work for me.

I would suggest you research on swaying methods here on in-gender before buying an internet kit.  There is a lot of great info.  Good luck!

I have had a friend who was successful with this program so I thought i would try it. I personally will not be recommending it. It has been a total waste of money. I have had nothing but trouble with baby-gender-selection-program.com. First my package was mail to the wrong address, next it arrived with some of its contents missing. I paid for online support and have not received one email back. (i have sent lots)I have sent a letter and no response to that either. Also when you order your dates you think that you have all the tools for making a baby girl successfully, but nope, they want you to then pay for the girl diet info, which they tell you is too hard to keep up so you should pay more for their magic supplements, and then if your 'crucial dates' do not line up as mine didn't with ovulation, you need to pay more for how to fix that. So the only thing you get for your money is their crucial dates whatever the hell that’s based on! All the other info is in this website. As for money back; well I won’t be getting my money back because I am not even pregnant!

I bought the choosethesexofyourbaby.com package and all of the extras and was promised a double money refund if it did not work. Obviously it did not work and I sent off everything that they asked for and I have not heard from them since. You can no longer contact them through their site and I have no idea how to contact them other than that.

It is not possible to plan for a boy or girl or even predict any gender without actually testing anything. We women are so gullible due to our curiosity to know these things that we lose our logic. How can someone sitting remotely entices us to take our money based on some ballpark home made mathematical fomrmula or based on some astrological positions? They are all selling electronic version of Chinese charts which are available everywhere free of cost, even here at IG.

Any company claiming it without testing anything or without any clear scientific base is definitely a scam.

Whatever accuracy claim is made by any company, reduce it at least by 10% and then decide.

.......and, of course, do not take a test in the name of 'fun'. It is not a fun if it confuses you.

IMHO. I know nothing.

I got that best baby test and did it twice. One time I got a boy and one a girl. Go figure 50/50.
