Morning sickness disappear?

When I was pregnant with DD#2 my morning sickness just disappeared at about 8 weeks or so.  I had been very very sick but then it pretty much disappeared, I had a few more nauseous moments, but for the most part it had left.  I am now pregnant with #3 and now that I am about 8 weeks the morning sickness has pretty much left.  I know intellectually that since this happened last time I really shouldn't freak out- but I am just worried sick.  Did this happen to any of you ladies?  Do you think I should call my midwife?  I feel so anxious- but I'm trying to calm myself down that this does not mean I have miscarried- esp. when I did this with baby #2!

My sickness went at around 9 or 10 weeks. Felt strange as it was just gone all of a sudden and I wasn't even 12 weeks yet. Never had sickness before this pregnancy so was kinda freaking out as I didn't know this could happen. I'm just over 24 weeks now and baby is still doing great. If you would feel better ring your midwife for some reassurance. I'm sure they'd understand. Hearts

Thanks ladies- this was reassuring.  Sometimes when your paranoid you really just need other people to comfort you!

I am hoping all is fine- I have my first dr.'s appointment on monday, I'll be 9 weeks 3 days and hopefully that is far along enough to hear a hb on doppler- some reassurance for my anxious mind!

I would love to trade places with you.  I am also preggo with #3 and I'm 28 weeks and still battling morning sickness.  Thankfully it's not as bad as it was in the beginning, but no fun none the less.

I understand your concern as the same thing happened to a friend of mine.  If you can't get in to see if your midwife will check on the baby, you can always call your local women's resource center.  They usually offer free ultrasounds for peace of mind.  :o)

My morning sickness made a lovely reappearance this morning.  I will quit worrying now....
