Aww, thanks for thinking of me! I wondered where your Gold went because I wanted to PM you the last couple of days. Happy

Unfortunately, I'm 10 dpo and BFN with iffy temperatures, so I'm very sure I'm out. I'm really depressed today, but I had my cry this morning and should be doing better tomorrow. It's just hardest the day I find out I'm not pregnant (for most people that seems to be the day AF shows, but I always know ahead of time). I suppose there is still a slight chance as I'm only 10 dpo and my temps haven't completely dropped. I won't stop my progesterone for another day or two just to be absolutely sure. But at this point, I just know this isn't my cycle. Sad

I will be 10 dpo tomorrow and will test then. I definitely feel a little preggers but IT COULD JUST BE THE PROGESTERONE! I hate that it mimics so many symptoms.

As for you, its still early and its not over till you know who arrives. Definitely DO NOT stop progesterone until youre sure. Even if that delays your cycle by a day or 2 (hey we both o'd early anyhow) Fingers crossed for you! Keep me posted.

Yup, I'm definitely taking the progesterone tonight. I probably will tomorrow too unless my temperature takes a massive nose dive in the morning. I'm not sure if I'd go any longer than that as normally, I'd have AF by 12 dpo, but we'll see. It will suck having to put off starting a new cycle, but since I might not get to ttc next cycle anyway, it probably doesn't matter much. Doh! And like you said, we did ovulate early so a longer LP won't throw my cycle off too much.

Btw, since I can't PM you, Doh! I have been wanting to ask if you know what your TSH level was when you had it tested? I was told mine was "normal" but on further research, I discovered that it is the very high end of normal (2.91) and is far above optimum levels (between 1-2 and at least below 2.5). I'm now wondering if something thyroid related might have played a role in my m/c's. I don't really think I have "thyroid disease" as I don't have any major symptoms (my dh has low thyroid and so I know what the symptoms look like). But I just wonder if I am "borderline" and on the way to developing a thyroid problem. So I am going to call my doctor this week and see if he will let me be tested for anti-thyroid antibodies. I know people can have "normal" TSH levels and high ATA's - and that that still increases the risk of m/c.

BFN for me this morning.....

I was told that for TTC you want your TSH under 2! New guidelines are pretty clear on that.My TSH was under 2 but I tested positive for antibodies. I would def talk to your doctor.

I'm sorry about the BFN. Sad Another BFN for me too. Now I just need to decide when to stop the progesterone.

I'm going to try calling my doctor shortly. FX that he will just order the test for me and I won't have to come in for an appointment.

Thanks, Sindy! Love Ya! I see you're 11 weeks now! Yay! How are you feeling?

My doctor agreed to order the test, so I'll go in and get it done tomorrow. I also wanted to ask you, outnumbered, weren't you put on a thyroid medication? Is that JUST because of the anti-thyroid antibodies? I'm just wondering about the treatment options if I happen to have this too. I know sometimes people take selenium to lower ATAs, but I don't know what else is usually done.

I got my test results back today. I tested positive for thyroid peroxidase antibodies. Isn't it bizarre that I feel HAPPY that something is wrong with me? Stick out tongue

My doctor hasn't seen the results yet; I will probably talk to him Monday, which gives me lots of time to research this over the weekend. I imagine I'll have to actually see an endocrinologist to get treated, right?, as I doubt my OB knows very much about thyroid.

Yes, I did have to see an endicrinologist. he put me on a low dosage levothyroxine to be taken daily....... while I was with him he also testede me more in depth for anemia, vitamin deficiencies, etc. That is when he put me on the very hi dose vit D (which i just finished last week). Let me know what he/she says.

BTW I stopped my progesterone last night. Sigh..... On to next month.

I stopped my progesterone last night too, and AF just arrived. Sad Oh well. I suppose in light of this newest finding maybe it's just as well that I'm not pregnant. It's probably better to get on the thyroid medication (if I can) BEFORE getting pregnant.

Hmm, that's interesting about being tested for vitamin deficiencies and other things as well. It certainly would be nice to know about some of those. I've been wanting to have my Vitamin D levels tested for a while.

SOS Sis: Thanks for your post. I've been thinking of you too. (((Hugs))) I'm glad things are going well for you so far and am Pray you have a happy and healthy rest of your pregnancy!

Outnumbered: I still haven't been able to talk to my doctor, but he left a message on my answering machine today. It sounds like is willing to prescribe some thyroid medication for me, but I'm not sure what else he will suggest. I was just wondering: What dose of thyroid medication were you put on? Also, did your doctor tell you you had to wait to ttc?

I'm a little afraid from the message that my doctor is going to say I have to wait to ttc until my levels are normal. Sad Obviously, I don't want another m/c so if that's what I have to do, that's what I have to do. But from my reading, I've gotten the impression that you don't have to take thyroid medication a long time before pregnancy to lower m/c rates. I would just rather be able to keep ttc if at all possible. Worried
