Did anyone actually conceive twins using soy isoflavones?  I understand it's a natural alternative to clomid and just wondering if anyone's conceived twins using it.  Thanks!

so, there is no one.  It's just a bunch of hype that it can help you conceive multiples?

Sorry, no idea!  It makes sense in theory, though.

I would be extremely nervous about taking soy supps when ttc, it's been linked to male birth defects (hypospadius, undescended testes etc.)

My u/s tech is convinced my SCH used to be a twin that didn't make it. Not sure why, but that's what she believes. I took soy.

really, I didn't know that either.  Maybe I'll go right to clomid.

I know someone on another website that did take it 120 mg days 3-7 and conceived B/G twins.

I'd say it's your best bet without actual fertility meds.

My sister's neighbor struggled to get pg and she is "healthy" into hollistic herbs and such, anyway, she took soy and wheat germ and ended up getting preg with twin girls a month before she was to meet with an RE. I would say you are safe unless you go over the recommended dosage, she said (my sister) that her neighbor took about 80 mg on days 3 thru 7 of her cycle and mixed the wheat germ in her yogurt and cereal and smoothies. Anyway, she got twins with it. Good luck.
