Okay, I've got all these pink little outfits, hairbows galore, and little mary jane shoes. I still can't seem to let go of my fear that she will be born a he! Please reassure me, girls. The first pic was taken at 19 weeks, and the second at 27 weeks. Is there anyway that the penis could be hiding and that lines I am seeing are scrotum and not labia?

I'm sorry that you didn't hear boy, but I do agree that is probably a girl. The three lines are very paralell, and I would expect if it was a boy the middle line would protrude much further. Best of luck, and here is to a healthy baby for you.

Here is my girl at just around 27 and a half weeks.

I am at 29 weeks and still after having my anatomy scan at 20 weeks and an elective 3D/4D scan at 28 weeks, I am still fearful that they got it wrong. I think it is only normal, especially when you've wanted something so badly [love] Your scan looks very similar to my 28 week scan!

Thanks ladies! We also got to see that she does have hair, so I went out and bought hairbows [;)]

I went for an elective 3D/4D u/s yesterday at 27 weeks. The tech gave us plenty of views of her girl bits, and all we saw were hamburger shots. I think I may finally be able to start buying dresses and hairbows!

I'm still not convinced on mine LOL, but here it is :) I'm hoping that DH will go for getting an elective one done for confirmation although both our tech and perinatologist were sure.

(((((Hugs))))) I think we have all had days like this, but I think it is more about parenthood in general rather than the gender. Remember, this stage will pass soon enough [love]

Charliecats- Love the pic! ROFL!
I am having a girl after two boys, and I hope I never look at her as being more amazing than my two boys...that just isn't right in my opinion.

We DTD every night from CD8 to CD13 (I ovulated on CD10) with this baby. Ultrasound says it is a girl (I still can't completely believe it), so yes, we conceived a DD on O day [:-)]

I felt exactly the same way before my u/s last Thursday. ((((((((HUGS)))))))) It can still happen for you, don't give up hope!

Okay, I'm a little paranoid and just want reassurance (even after confirmation from the tech and the perinatologist that it is in fact a she). It looked a little clearer on the big screen and when the perinatologist zoomed in, but I trust all your opinions. Can I buy a little dress this weekend?

Uggh, my in-laws go all out for my niece too. I did cry when I found out SIL was having a girl...I also spent the whole pregnancy hoping that they had made a mistake and it would be a boy at the delivery! And, I gotta say that even when I find out people who aren't even particularly close to me are expecting, I wish they have a boy. I guess I'm a bit of a jealous person when it comes to others g...

Awww, that is so sweet.
I have to add that my DH is much closer to his mom than his sister is. Before my MIL started babysitting for SIL's kids everyday, she would go weeks without hearing from them. The funny thing is, both DH and I are super close to our parents. I have to talk to my mom everyday!

I cried at the commercial, too [:P] I think regardless of how far we've come in our GD, we will always have those little moments. I think realizing that it is okay if it sneaks in on your once in a while helps.

Awww, I hope your sis gets what she wants. My sister is also due in May and really wanted a boy. Thankfully, she is getting her wish! I would hate to think of my sister going through GD since I know how bad it hurts.

I hate that I even told people I was going for my u/s today. Everyone is expecting a call, and I don't know if I'll be able to do that. Best of lunk, and hopefully there is a lot of pink dust in the air today! LOL, I even wore pink undergarments LOL

Thanks so much! I was feeling sick about it yesterday, but now I'm just at the point that I want it over with. My heart is telling me it is another boy, and I now really feel like I'll be okay with that. I especially felt better when I overheard (okay, I was eavesdropping) DH talking to his parents on the pho...

That is exactly why I couldn't do it after all :) I just know I wouldn't have been able to keep that from him, and he would've been hurt had he found out. He's too good to me, so I couldn't do that LOL...I'm in the 26 hour countdown, now...gosh that makes me feel queasy!

Welcome! I feel like I could have written parts of your post myself! I also go for my scan tomorrow evening, and I am just so sick about it. I love my boys to death, but I, too, am a huge girly girl and I have that ache for a daughter. I hope that we'll both hear pink tomorrow, as we are likely done after this one as well :(

I think it looks like my boy u/s pics, but I'd wait and see what some of the more experienced gals think.
