Wanted just 1 child a [XX] . Will have another one to try for a girl. It might also turn out to be another [XY] but 2 is definitely our limit. 2 boys is my least wanted option also but we dont get to pick [:(]

I would suggest if you think finding out before birth is better then please go ahead and find out. I am very glad that I found out early. 4 months of dreaming about a girl was bad enough. After finding out the gender I obsessed, grieved, cried and then moved on. People say you cannot be disappointed about the gender when you actually see the baby. I dont know about that yet, I ...

Congratulations! I was thinking about you today. Am so happy for you. You were more than prepared to hear either gender. My son was also sucking his thumb . They are very sweet indeed.

Thats what HE wants but then what about what YOU want. I have been following your posts. I thought he was worried if you could accept another boy if you ttc now. What if you are not ready to ttc naturally now and you want to wait . Wont your kids be spaced far apart? He cannot force you to accept another boy quickly.
It is sad that he would rather see you unhappy than spend money on your dr...

BlueSky, like the PPs what I love about you is your honesty. Thats the difference between real world and this board - HONESTY. The one who wrote that post was a new member who is not used to different levels of GD in this board. It is an opinion of a person with may be some mild GD. I would say dont take it too seriously.

I have not tried hard but I am really ok having a boy now. First month after my ultrasound I was obsessing over my ultrasound pics , hoping and praying it was all a mistake but as pregnancy progressed I started feeling totally different. His movement and my big belly made me feel special. I started to feel carrying and birthing a child is the most amazing thing. I slowly started to enjoy my pregna...

I think she will be smug either ways irrespective of what she REALLY wants. If she has another girl she will be smug about having 2 of her dream gender and if she has a boy she will be smug about having a pigeon pair. Unfortunately, since she already has one of her dream gender , I doubt whether her attitude will ever change.
Hope you feel better. GD is awful , I hate hearing anyone else is ...

I would go back in time and sway harder for a boy (mainly because if I go back in time I wouldn't know what I was missing). But honestly I think God would still have sent dd2 no matter what I did because to me gd is about God wanting us to have more kids than it is about the gender of the kids. So he would have given us a girl anyway so we would have 3 kids

I LOVED being the only girl. I think brothers and sisters have an awesome connection. I often read here about women wanting to give a sister for their DDs but then I also read about how jealous women get when their own sisters have the gender of their desire.

Diana, hope you hear BOY. I am pregnant with my first and I had the pressure to produce a GIRL because both sides of our family is very boy heavy. I am getting close to my due date and believe me I am totally fine with having a boy. May be because this is our first my disappointment didnt last very long. From your posts I can tell you will not be very disappointed hearing [DD] or [DS]

I had a strong girl feeling too in the beginning because I was very sick (till 18 weeks). Everyone told me it is a girl based on my morning sickness and 1000 other old wives tales ( Never going to believe any of that again) . But then close to my ultrasound I had 2 dreams about a little boy. Then the girl feeling stopped. I told my dh it is a boy and it did turn out to be ...
