She is utterly adorable! It is so much fun to dress them in pink, isn't it? I recently bought Nea some headbands, too, she has a little more hair now and it does not look weird anymore, LOL. I hope you will be able to breastfeed her without any problems!

I had a major amount of prelabour and false contractions in my third pregnancy, too. It drove me crazy. They started on a Monday and lasted for three days, then my baby was finally born. I did know the real thing after all, but the third birth somehow took longer than the second anyway. It was not worse, though, just more labour pains until things got going. Hang in there!

Huge congrats to you, sweetie!I am really happy for you. You chose a beautiful name! I wish you a wonderful time getting to know your little princess. There is something special about a little baby girl. [hearts] Cherish those first days, they are so precious and pass so quickly. By the way, I love the story about her birth date. Funnily enough, our own girl was born on her great-grandmo...

As long as I breastfeed, it does not come on its own. I had to take vitex at 16 months postpartum to induce it and get pregnant again!

Monkeyjams - thank you! I know what you mean about staying away from milk and soy. I did the same thing for the first three months, mostly. I do not think Nea has a real intolerance, but milk protein is so hard to digest and she was so fussy about her digestion anyway, any little poop would bother her and make her scream. I have slowly started to re-introduce milk products now and she seems to be ...

It is so good to see some July babies again! I love looking at your pics, your babies are gorgeous!Cayson, I read your birth story and I am sorry you are going through so much. Your little lady is adorable and I am sure she is the light of your life. Nea was also born in June and is over 3 months old already. She was extremely high-need in the first months, a colicky, unhappy baby who c...

Oh my God, that is the most wonderful news, Aussie! I am soooo happy for you! This was truly meant to be, don't you think? [;)] You will have so much fun with your little girl, and so will the boys. My boys love their little sister and are very protective of her. And shopping for a girl is so much fun! Many beautiful outifts - and not all of them in pink. [:-)] Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, yo...

Sounds like you found a good way to tell dh! You are definitely not alone. I have no desire or energy to dtd. My baby literally needs me 24/7, I can barely put her down,or she will cry the house down. I actually do not know how it should work logistically until she sleeps a little better! [:-)] But breastfeeding always puts me off sex, anyway, it affects my hormones a lot.

Babies go through stages when they are more unsettled whenever some new mental development is happening, too. She might be learning something new, so watch her closely. It affects their sleep, their feeding patterns, everything.I have a very high-need little girl, and I do the following to make her calmer:sling-wearing (for naps)cutting out all dairy and caffeinea regular daytime routine (so...

Sounds like great news for you! We had to use the silver nitrate on Nea's bellybutton, too, but it heals fairly quickly and now looks great. I am jealous that this is your best baby - it is the opposite for me and Nea is my most difficult baby, a really colicky baby who cries all the time and sleeps terribly. Enjoy your sweet girl!

My third labour was tricky that way, too. I was in false labour for three days, always thinking it was the real thing, but as long as your contractions are not closer together and do not last over a minute, you are not likely to deliver soon. I tried walking, too, but if your body is not ready, nothing will happen. I think the third time you just expect everything to go the same way, but it does n...

It is definitely normal for breastfed babies. If I recall correctly, it gets a little better around 8-12 weeks. My little one is the same, day and night! She also really suffers from this because every poop is a major effort...
