Re: what is everyone eating?

How about 4 cruskits topped with ww cottage cheese, sliced tomatoe and cracked pepper, a perfect snack with only 3 points!  Sorry not intending to upset anyone here but it seems like convenience foods are the go here, but you will be amazed at how much more you can eat if you prepare food yourself!  A ham and salad roll would only be 5 points and so much more wholesome and filling! ...

Hey there feb ladies, have you all deflated yet? hehe I did on 12th feb posted under birth announccements, how are the rest of you?

Just my luck to get this comment!

Hi, it's been awhile but if you look back at old posts you would know that I desperately wanted a DD and ofcourse I have 4 boys instead.  Kade is my baby only 10 days old and at the shop yesterday a lady said isn't she beautiful what's her name, when I said he's a boy she said he's too pretty to be a boy!  I could have bawled at that comment but I managed to laugh it off which I am proud...

Kade David has arrived!

Hi all hope you are all well! I was booked for an elective c/s on 19th feb but went into labour on 11th feb.  I think it might have had something to do with moving furniture and lots of cleaning on the 10th!  Kade ended up coming into the world 1am on 12th feb via emergency c/s as I was contracting and bleeding and they say the placenta was coming away and there was a clot behind the pla...

Re: very scared of having my 4th ceasarean!

Well I saw the anesthesist and he said that after reading through my notes I am more than deserving of a general and things should go fine, so that has made me feel better but also selfish too.  I am getting very anxious still and nervous about it all and very uncomfortable too! I can not wait to feel normal again and just meet this little guy and get on with life! I am in agony and very tear...

Re: Pigeon pair

I would have loved the pigeon pair with the boy being first, it was like my childhood dream! So I was very happy with my DS1 but totally gutted when I didn't get a DD with any of the others! My dream is officially over now with a 4th boy nearly here and it will be final as I will have a tubal done with my c/section.  I can not say we tried for more kids as they were all pretty much unplanned ...

Re: Pregnant again after C Section...

I conceived 4 months after my DS2 and all was fine.  It was probably harder emotionally to be on the theatre table so soon but physically no different really. The docs have been my concerned with the 4th c/s and not at all with the close gap!

Re: Okay February ladies, where are you?

HI haven't been here in ages and it's real nice to be back and have some support from other women feeling the same as me! Due 29th February but scheduled caesarean booked for 19th February. And very scared if you've read my post! Goodluck to all!

Re: very scared of having my 4th ceasarean!

Thanks for your support ladies, Elene I was thinking of a 5th when I found out this is a boy but have now decided I am done! I will be getting a tubal liagation and just know in my heart and body that I can not do this to myself again!  The GD I have suffered with DS2, DS3 and this one has been a real hard rollercoaster and physically it is so draining to be pregnant with other children! I ...

Re: Feb Babies.....I am soooo tired!

I am feeling exactly the same! Getting out of bed is so hard! I can barely move after sleeping in the same position all night. Everything is starting to be hard work and I am really not feeling too organised around home, I feel like nesting but my body is saying slow down, I am just managing the kids and keeping on top of main rooms and everyday jobs.  COUNT DOWN! I am booked for 19th Feb.

very scared of having my 4th ceasarean!

Hi, I haven't been on here in ages!!! I guess I have accepted the fact that I am having my 4th DS and will never have a daughter.  I was hoping that someone here can give me some advice on having a 4th c/s.  My 1st was an emergency and so quickly it was all over which was fine, the 2nd was a nightmare, I have scholiosis (curved lower spine) and it took them 3 and half hours to do the epi...

Re: Okay new question? how do you know when it is your last baby and does it make GD worse?

I am in your position right now, I am booked in for a c/s on 22nd Feb and expecting my 4th boy.  Gee each pregnancy seems to be harder and harder both physically and emotionally!  and I have now decided I just couldn't put myself through all this ever again!  My GD has gotten worse with each child and when I found out I was preg this time I was adamant that if it wasn't my girl I wo...

Re: Why we have GD

That was a brilliant explanation of our GD for people that don't get it (GD) to read!  But even so, it's true they will never understand unless they are in our shoes! I definetely feel ripped off! I am missing 50% of motherhood! And it just isn't fair!

Re: 1.5 hours until my UltraSound - SO NERVOUS!

You have felt the pain of GD and know how we all feel here so I think that gives you every right to be excited and we are all excited for you! You got lucky and you deserve it! Congratulations!

Re: Signs, signs, everywhere signs...

I had every sign possible telling me girl and even 3 clairvoiyant's say girl too!  I was devasted it was all wrong with a 4th boy on the way!  I should have known better than to think I'd get lucky and get my wish/dream!

Re: i'm Going To Sound Horrible But

I know just how you are feeling, it is awful having to wait so long!  It drove me crazy!  I am really feeling the strain of pregnancy on my body with this one and do ask myself why am I doing this all for another boy?  But ofcourse we will love them just the same no matter what they are! HUGS AND GOODLUCK!

CAN"T BELEIVE WHAT MY SISTER TOLD ME!

Well today my sister rang, as you all know she had her 1st baby on Sunday, a little boy.  We were talking away, all about baby stuff ofcourse and she said if I tell you something can you keep it quiet? She found out at her u/s the gender and didn't let on to anyone, they pretended to have a suprise. They were told it was a girl! OMG! I can't believe it, if she had told everyone that, she woul...

Re: Best for the kids or for us?

Well, I always wished I'd had a brother growing up and didn't really like my sister.  I was the mean big sister and just found her annoying, I feel guilty for that now and really love her and we are close! So I guess I am pretty happy now with a sister rather than a brother especially since I won't have a daughter of my own I will have her for female comfort! My boys will have each other too ...

HOW'S THIS!

My sister just had her 1st baby ( a boy) and I have a 4th boy on the way.  I rang my Dad excited and to make sure he'd heard the news and he knows how dissappointed I am that I have not had a girl then he said to me "It looks like I'll never get a granddaughter" . I can't believe he said that to me! Hello Dad you had 2 daughters and always wanted a son, now you have 5 grandsons (nearly) ...

Re: Why am I so sad????

I am jealous I have to admit, experiencing both genders was my dream but you are certainly entitled to feel how you feel! You will love this baby regardless when he arrives, I think you just need time to come to terms with it and your girls just need a little time too! My DS (3 yrs) was so set on a girl that when he found out it was a boy he was hitting me and stomping up and down, I could re...

Re: Do you know anyone with same-sex families that have no GD?

Yes, most of my friends and family have 2 girls and they all seem happy and content with that, a couple say they would have liked a son for there DH but it doesn't really bother the women, they are content with their daughters.  I do have 1 friend with the pigeon pair and she only ever wanted boys and is totally jealous of me while I am totally jealous of her, but we still laugh it off. It i...

Re: I'm feeling excited but anxious!

Sis had a boy   BLAKE JOHN MILLER.  I am so happy and relieved that I am not the only one in the family with boys!  She had a hard labour that ended in a c/s bit like me but all is good now!  He is so very cute!

Re: Is it just my imagination...

Oh Julia, I am so sorry that you are having a hard time! It is hard at the best of times with children and newborns let alone twins, you have a heavy workload there at the moment!  But give yourself time and try not to be too hard on yourself, I wish I could just give you a big hug, you really need some love and care! I agree that you should go and see your doctor and talk through your feelin...
