I do believe that certain women can only get PG with one gender or can only carry one gender to term but I don't think it has squat to do with the Chinese calendar.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but when I had my daughter (first child) I thought I was lucky, blessed all the usual cliches etc etc. I got to pick dresses do the hair all the usual stuff that one does with a girl.
Fast forward to the present and I now have a boy, and all I can say is WOW, this baby is so in love with me, his eyes follow me around the room and he stops...

There is now an severe/extreme GD forum. And I don't see anything wrong with boy (or girl) moms that also have (or had) GD themselves defending their family simply because they happen to have love having sons (or daughters). [2C]

OMG...what a WONDERFUL way to put it! I am so SICK of people putting it out there like raising boys is someone else's "dirty work" that they're just too good to deal with. [grouchy] Not harsh at all IMO.O-V-E-R it!!!

Have you posted this in the US prediction forum? I wasn't going to say anything about this until I figured out from another post that you were HOPING for a [DS] but that looks BOY to me. Post in there those ladies are awesome! Good luck! [E] http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/95.aspx

I would never ask either but I don't think crazy to ask such a thing if you happen to be engaged in conversation with them at the park, library, school etc. Esp if they've never expereinced or known anyone with or ever heard of GD.

Well I'm just glad you didn't dare mention anything to them about
"being done" because they finally got their girl because apparently
that's extremely offensive according to some of the posts I've read
around here. [;)]
I think that people that haven't
really experienced GD or been to IG that they don't mean any harm if
they *do* ask something like this. I also think it's just na...

If I'm understanding this right, I disagree. When my husband and I decided to TTC #3, we did it because we wanted another baby. We were open to whatever gender we were given. That doesn't mean that I had zero preference though. I did everything feasable (to me) to sway for a girl. I wasn't TTC just for a girl th...

I agree and the fact that you said you were thinking of swaying for a girl means that you maybe don't just want another baby. [worried]
They never dicipline them and boys, in particular, need lots of dicipline.
I don't think that boys need more discipline than girls. They both need regular, consistent discipline. We often have dinner with a 3 girl family (ages 5-10) and they regularly make a huge messes on the table and floor for the wait staff to clean up, out of sugar, salt & pepper an...

and honestly. i think my GD takes over their craziness sometimes. they are 1 and 2. very close in age and VERY CRAZY.

I don't know how large of a metro area you live in but the Gap, Old Navy & Target where I live in doesn't have squat and I just don't bother going in there at all to shop for V at all. Now, I burn up .coms with all of the stores I just mentioned along with mini boden, American Eagle 77 Kids (a recent ADORABLE and very affordable favorite!) & Nordstrom. Why not use the spa...

Oh honey, I am so sorry...((hugs)) GOD what a complete c*nt!! I hate that word and it's one that my husband will say about certain women but it's completely appropriate for this bitch. No kidding...far from it! Not a snap of the finger or flip of a switch. I had (and still have) secondary infertility along with insurance that will pay for ANY and EVERY fertility drug, treatment and procedure under the sun (talk about frustrating!) and after 3+ years of the best REs at Vanderbilt not being able to help me get a daughter or son, I have finally moved on. Also this is a quote from IG user TC0108 and the links don't always work like they should so I'm going to quote what she said a few weeks ago:
I HAVE to get over this. I cannot let GD consume my life. I don't want to look back in 30 years and regret the time I spend mourning a daughter that was never meant to be. Yes, it would have been wonderful to have a girl, but it just didn't happen. I ha...

If she's right it's pure luck; she has no way of knowing...online calculators, chinese calendars, "I'm predicted ______" blinkies & gross colored gender prediction pee tests don't mean jack! Don't believe anything unless you see a turtle or hamburger on a scan pic.

Yes I'd say it's a VERY good sign indeed and no offense to anyone else with a dd named Bella or anyone who likes the name Bella but it's gonna be the "Jennifer" of names soon and is becoming so generic and overused these days and since Bella means pretty or beautiful it's kind of ironic that she wasn't so cute...[;)] even though a lot of newborns are ugly (my guy wasn't of course...[lmao])Glad you...
