Good luck. Why dont you get them to put it in an envelope and you can look at home? Then you dont run the risk of getting upset at the scan.

As the previous poster said hormones will be all over the place and with sleepless nights this may feel like a disaster but it could be the best thing ever!

My sister in lax did the deed 6 days before ovultation and got a boy. If she ovulated a day or two earlier that means you can get boy on day 6,5 and 4!!

Bebetto, I too have 3 daughters and watching their relationship is so fab! It did take me a while to get over it and I can't say that I wouldnt jump at the chance of having a boy but time does help. I felt the same in my pregnancy too. It was a horrid feeling to have especailly mixed in with all the pregnancy hormones as well. x

I saw somewhere that it is six hour before ovulation to give the boy sperm time to race to the egg!

Whichever way you go sway or non sway if you don't get the gender you desire you will always wonder what would have happened if you had done the opposite! It's s tough one.

tudaughters, I felt the same way as you when I found out about DD3. I was so sad. Really took me a VERY long time to work through it. HUsband was not bothered at all. They are all really close in age. Now she is 20 months and she has started pointing at the other and saying their names in a really cute voice an voice! The bond between them is amazing! x

Its funny I have three girls and I have been trying to work out just why I had such bad GD with the third. A week ago my sister in law had her second son and I realised that that was my perfect family. And then it clicked that I think it is because I see then as being mini me's! And I dont want then to be because it feels like history repeating itself in a funny kind of way...if that makes sense! ...

Indubio, 18 months ago I went through the same thing and I now have 3 fab girls. Watching them together is just magic! They are so close.
But it did take me a long time to come to terms with it! Time really helps and meeting them!

Good luck with the scan. Let us know how it goes on this thread. I could have written your post about all the comments you got when you were pregnant with number 3! When I was pregnant with third daughter the comments drove me mad. Some o them were so rude!! x

Your story really made me think about how silly I have been being so sad about not getting a boy with my third. I would really love to go for number 4 and in my head I 'think' I will be fine with 4 girls. I can see them being paired off. Sometimes I see an odd number as not quite right and pairs would be nice so in my head I feel like I have accepted four girls already. Is this how you felt when y...
