[Y] So very true, and very wise advice!
I can't really say much more than what's already been said, but to add that no matter what, you will love him more than life itself and he'll change your life in more amazing ways than you ever thought possible. Trust me! Maybe it will take some time, but it will happen. It's really hard to explain what it's like to be a mom before you b...

Couldn't have said it better myself!!
I often refer to DD1 as a princess, she's four.. who cares?! I'm hardly likely to call her it when she's 21. I say let kids be kids.. if it makes her feel good being a princess, dressing up etc then great. Little girls liking princesses defines what they're in to - not who they are.

I think the idea of it is very sweet and I don't see anything wrong with it. However, I'd probably just go buy formula if it were a random stranger in the mall.

Yep, I also found the site while googling u/s pictures. When I first joined I posted exclusively in the ultrasound forum, but after awhile started using the "new posts" button and venturing into other forums.
I don't always agree with everything I see posted here, but I think it's totally wrong and uncalled for that someone called the OP out in a PM. Sorry that happened to you.

I had that with DD; it was called a subchorionic hematoma and it resolved itself by my 8 week ultrasound. I did have some spotting and severe cramping b/c of it but everything turned out fine!
Congrats on seeing the heartbeat!! [HH]

[DS]!!
And Charliecats posted this in the FAQ regarding the best time for 3D face pics:
[quote]
Should I get a 3D/4D Scan?
Best time is between 28-32 wks for nice shots of the baby's face.

Actually, it's not the media that's made me reconsider getting the shot for my family; it's personal stories from friends and online message board friends whose families have suffered devastating flu complications. I really wasn't going to bother with the shot but I've honestly heard about 4 horror stories in the last week alone... [:(]

I actually think her second shot looks pretty girly, like a typical hamburger shot. I had a couple pics like that with DD.
