Re: Boy #5 on his way!!

Thank you, I think he's pretty cute too - I guess we won't be selling him on ebay after all! [rofl]

Re: Boy #5 on his way!!

LOL I guess that's the one they call the money shot - he's definitely a big proud boy - here's another one of his face though!

Boy #5 on his way!!

Just had it confirmed today that baby is most definitely another boy!  Just as well really because the kids would be really confused if we had to change the name now - they've been calling him baby Evan for the last 10 weeks - actually Taylor's pretty keen on the name Evan Bevan Weven but I'm not so sure myself [rofl] I've just posted my text book nub shot in the boy gallery but thought you ...

Re: Post your BOY nub ultrasounds once confirmed :)

Hi just had my 5th boy confirmed today, after everyone guessed blue from my text book boy nub shot!!

Re: My boy #3 nub photos 13 week nt scan - 90% boy

Hi pinkpleasesoon, Did you see Mr Penman today?  I had my 22 week scan with him this morning at 8.45 - maybe we passed each other in the reception! [HL]  I just had my 5th boy confirmed today, but I had already guessed from my nt scan that he did previously - we didn't ask then but it was really obvious from the dvd when we watched it, so we just got him to confirm what we already ...

My consultant has a link on here!!

Just noticed that there is a link on this website for the consultant I have used 3 times now to tell me the sex of my baby AND he now advertises the fact that he can predict the gender at 12 weeks, so the next time any of you girls gets told that the nub theory is rubbish tell them to have a look at his website!!  [;)] www.fetal-medicine.co.uk

whoops didn't mean to put the little hot devil in there!

Re: In theory only...what is the age that...

Looks like this is another boy - 5 now in total, our only daughter died when she was 6 months from meningitis.  Desparately long for another daughter but adore and are truly grateful for the children we have - even if this one is another stinky boy!! I think my problem is that I just don't feel old yet!! [hot][rofl]

Re: thoughs on natural vs. hospital

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining in since i have no relevant advice to add.  I live in the UK where delivery by a midwife is the norm and most women desire a natural (although not always unmedicated) birth.  Personally I have had my last 2 children at home and have had the most wonderful experiences, especially since one of my best friends is a midwife and ha...

Re: In theory only...what is the age that...

I thought I'd had my last when my second was born when I was 24, but here I am at 41 on my 6th pregnancy and although my husband doesn't know it yet, I haven't quite ruled out another! [;)]

Re: Lets have a debate (nest girls stop here)

It's so wrong to judge people for GD or for having large families - I never expected to have either, but I did.  I had 2 boys from my first marriage, then remarried and had a beautiful baby girl, who died when she was 6 months old from meningitis.  I found out I was pregnant again only a few weeks after she died, when I was told the baby was a boy both I and my husband were deva...

?? for Charliecats - what would we do without you?!

Hi Charliecats, Just a quick question.  I posted some pics on here a few weeks ago and you (along with everyone else) said boy - which I didn't want to hear!! Anyway - I have got used to the idea of boy number 5 now and even been out and bought him some very funky clothes!  So it's not really that I'm trying to kid myself here BUT......what are the chances of it bei...

Re: 3D/4D Scan at 12 weeks - how accurate is gender prediction?

Hi, If I remember correctly you live quite close to me - I'm in Rochester.  I'm not sure which hospital you are referring to,but Mr Penman at the Alexander hospital in Walderslade (Chatham) has correctly told me the sex of my last 3 children at my 12 week scan.  Although the scan is partly in 3D/4D he still uses the 2D images to determine the sex.  Hope that helps and has always be...

Re: Well My Bubble Has Been Well and Truly Burst.

I really feel for you keeley, and can truly relate to how you're feeling.  I've just found out i'm expecting my fifth boy, we too lost a child, a much loved girl. I just seems so unfair, it's not that you love your children any less but you just want a second chance with one of the other sex. I too have run out of chances, i'll be 42 when this one is born and we'd already agreed it would have...

Re: finally brave enough to post a nub pic - hope it works now!

Thank you girls for your kind words.  We did try to sway for this one but not very successfully i guess.  we like to think that mybe Madison is trying to let us know that she wants to be our one and only daughter to make her even more extra special to us!  Disappointed as I am, I know just how a precious a child's life is and this little man will be loved just as much as all th...

Re: finally brave enough to post a nub pic - hope it works now!

Thank you girls for your guesses and your kind words.  I've just watched my scan dvd again for around about the millionth time, the difference this time was that i just concentrated on his cute little face and actually enjoyed watching him dancing around inside me, i feel much better now [:-)] Then i started hunting for the funkiest (non blue) baby bedding i could find - check it out - www....

Re: finally brave enough to post a nub pic - hope it works now!

not until 22 weeks and i'm 14 now, when i watch the dvd i can sometimes kid myself that the nub may be a little flatter, but really in most shots it is pretty obviously boyish!

Any chance you couod be wrong though??!!!!!  lol!

Re: finally brave enough to post a nub pic - hope it works now!

thank you charliecats and pinkbabydust, i know you're the expert and i trust your opinions.  To be honest, i knew the moment i looke at the first picture - the nub was pointed out to me in my last three pregnancies and it looks just like my other boys.  I guess i was just trying to kid myself and hang on to a little hope. Well, now i've spent all day crying and it's about time i picked ...

Re: finally brave enough to post a nub pic - hope it works now!

thank you fourboys! just remembered you live near by! do you know what you are having yet or are you not going to find out? i swore i wasn't going to post my pics on here because i didn't want to be disappointed but i've been driving myself crazy guessing and believing that i already know! it looks like you are only about 3 weeks ahead of me, maybe we can go crazy together!

Re: My sad and pathetic attempt at positive thinking

I've just come over here, totally miserable, after posting my scan picture and being told by everyone 'that's a boy for sure' and you have cheered me up so much [HL] I know at 12 weeks it could still be wrong, but i really don't think so!  I already have 4 boys and this looks like number 5 on the way, what makes it so much worse for me is that we did have a little girl, but she died of ...
