Read on the "other" gender forum Natera is no longer doing 5 day fresh, only frozen.

I only did a 5 panel probe for my first 2 cycles and each time lost them to a different chromosome. I'm going to test all 24 this cycle. I'll be turning 42 shortly but I've spent the last year prepping for this and I've met many women who are successful at older ages (but have taken great pains to get there).

Hope you don't mind if I ask 2 questions? (ok, so that's 3, technically...)
What is the purpose of pineapple?
I'm going to be doing a 24 panel with Natera (GSN) and putting back 2 or 3 (if available) boys. You mention when people put back 2 they either both take or neither does. Is this tracked on the forum somewhere?
Thanks!!!

I'm in MA and I'm using FCNE (Fertility Center of New England). I used Boston IVF for my last 2 cycles and I WILL NOT recommend them to anyone!!! I've been at this for 7 years (lots of issues, 2 miscarriages). I will never forget my experiences, they've been both good and bad and I can only hope I will have my boys the next cycle. Never have regrets, if you're considering it, you're thinking of ha...

I'm very sorry for your losses. Before trying, screen for Hughes syndrome (blood clotting disorder). I tested for it and it's been found I may have an issue so next cycle I'm on baby aspirin.
As for gender, in the U.S. depends on the clinic, it's about a 50/50 split here in MA. Of course I'm using PGD for boy gender but also Trisomy and Monosomy (we've had a bad run, many issues, 2 miscarriages...

LOL, my best recommendation still stands: Be as healthy as you can!!! Eat whole foods, watch your weight, limit sugar, dairy, gluten, alcohol, etc...! This is my best advice to anyone. I've learned so much this year that now that we're at the door to PGD again, I'm afraid I didn't do enough, but my blood and lab results say otherwise! (It's been a L O N G year!!!)
Good luck!!!

In my own personal experience, we wasted nearly 4 years dealing with GIVF and we're glad we decided NOT to use them. We were jerked around for years, they are tied in with the government for their PGD program (we signed our lives and potential baby's life away!). Gave them money to start proceedings, never got anywhere due to waitlisting, never got our money refunded. We found out we were better o...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I CANNOT believe it's been a year already!!! Where did the time go? Please don't fret any longer. They're healthy and I'm sure beautiful!!! Been an emotion year all around. Thank you for your insight on Genesis, I'm hoping it made a lot of women think twice before using them, I know it did me!

Just went back and re-read your post. Did you change protocol between your two cycles? I'm wondering how you got more than twice as many the second cycle.

I should be cycling at the moment, but I wasn't happy with my TSH levels and decided to wait. I had a full blood panel done and (finally) my T3 and T4. I hope to have results tomorrow. That will determine when I start cycling again.
How's it going on your end?

Whitney, I'm super excited for you!!! That's incredible!!! I just had a full blood panel done last week (I keep forgetting to call for results!!!). Still don't know my AMH, since October??!! You'd think they'd know by now! Grrr... My FSH was only 6.7, so that's a huge help! My microdose is Lupron (5ui in the AM, 5ui in the PM), no menupur, forget the rest, it's at home. I'll find it. I know it's a...

I want to do this, but my insurance company won't allow it. I have to talk to my dr's insurance guy to see if there's another way. Good Luck, sorry your cycle didn't go as planned, but brighter days ahead. Sometimes you get more knowledge along the journey!

I'm going to be doing the microflare protocol as well. It's supposed to be the most effective one out there right now for older women. Good Luck!!!

Thanks!!! I'll definitely be sure to ask. My nurse said to hope for a female tech, they're more aggressive, lol. I don't care, as long as they know to target the boys.
My insurance won't pay for the ICSI or PGD (no surprise there, despite what I pay them weekly!!!). I am going to appeal it. Every embryo I've created was abnormal and/or ended in miscarriage. I feel they should cover both.

I love that my new clinic is going to do ICSI for fertilization. Why the last one didn't, is beyond me! I understand that the lab techs will chase down that critter and lop off it's tail before sticking the little sucker into the egg! Makes me laugh every time! I didn't really have a problem with my eggs fertilizing before, but this is a much better chance that it's a complete sperm and not just a...

If you are going to cycle again before transfer, and he said you could start taking it, start now. It needs to be in your system no less than 8 weeks to be remotely effective. I started mine in August and we're debating cycling in December. Most people can still produce it and it does need to be monitored, but as he's telling you to take it, he may have seen something in your blood work that makes...

I'm doing my research into Natera (formerly GSN) as I wanted to use them for my last cycle at the clinic from Hell... And low and behold, the doctor I had at BIVF has the audacity to post this quote:
Exciting Advancement in IVF/PGD
"Natera's Parental Support technology has been one of the most exciting advancements in IVF/PGD I've seen over the past 10 years. When I have a patient with recur...
