Question for regulars - How often are these nub guesses correct?

I am planning to TTC soon, and I am considering putting up a nub pic. I am worried if I am told boy I will be upset and take that as a given, and if told girl I will get excited and take that as a given too. How often is a perfect boy/girl nub wrong? I know its no guarantee, but I'm jsut wondering how common it is..

Re: Gender Disappointment

Are any of your family members willing to take in your son? This eliminates the issue of him losing the only attatchments he has, whilst still having him in a place where people love him.  It also gives you the opportunity to still have a relationship with him.  It will still affect him, particcularly if you go on to have more children, but may be better for him than the situation he is ...

Re: Who wants or wanted same gender sets

I always wanted a girl, until my husband and I decided to start trying, and I decided I desperately wanted a boy first. I was lucky enough to get exactly what I wanted. We fell pregnant again quickly (surprise!!) and decided not to find out. I didnt want either sex - I wanted BOTH. I wanted a girl (for me) but a boy for my little man, because like yours, they were 14 months apart. On the day, af...

Re: babydust292~

That sounds like a winner! Sorry to hijack the thread, but I was wondering how you are going abotu that? I was going to do o+12 with a 14 day abstain, no EGS, but im intrigued now.. would you use one sample and split it or will your poor partner be getting very busy providing?

Re: Keeping Clothes

I have 2 boys, and don;t have a scrap of girl clothing.. We knew #1 was a boy, so bougth only blue and neutral. Wth number 2 when i was about 35 weeks I bought some girl clothes but left their tags on and left them in the bag, with washing instructions for Dh if I had a girl, and returning instructions if I had a boy. Returning them was really hard though.. I diodn;t realise I wanted a girl unti...

Looking for Aussies who travelled for PGD

My husband and I are planning on trying for number 3 some time this year after having 2 boys. We both want a daughter, and we were planning on swaying, and if it didn't work, maybe doing PGD next time or figuring out what went wrong with our sway and trying again. In the last few days I have started to change my mind, I know I defenitly want one more child, boy or girl, but I'm not sure I will w...

Re: Anyone not telling their DH they are swaying?

I honeslty can't imagine keeping such important information from my husband, and because he knows its importnant to me, and I asked for his support, I have it. It seems like a big thing to omit, can I ask why you are not telling your husbands?

Re: Does being sick sway?

Or I can go hangout with my boys at their daycare.. That place is full of germs, I'm sure of it.. How can it not be with so many toddlers there?

Re: Does being sick sway?

Well, in that case, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to like some hand rails at a subway station! [:D]

Re: how long to do baby diet & take sups?

As I understand it you should start the diet/sups 6 weeks before your first attempt. DQM.

Re: Who did you check your Suppliments with?

I wasn't sure.. I mean, I know Tamara isn't a doctor and wasn't sure how well she knew correct doses of vitamins etc, or if she wanted that responsibility of saying "yes, that amount is fine". I also think we have slightly different reccomendations in Aus for most things than in the US. Either way, if thats an option, its worth a try.. guess i'm going gold!

Who did you check your Suppliments with?

I am researching suppliments so I can have them ready to go when I start my diet in May.  I find msot things come in Multi's, such as calcium and Magnesium, and Folic and Iodine. Many of them do have Folic. I don;t jsut want to show up at my doctors and say "Hi, you will think i'm completely mental but I'm TTC a girl, and I plan to take this this and this, what do you think?" Because I will ...

Re: I created the Secret "Swayers" group on Facebook

How did you make it secret? I would love to make an Aussie specific one, since there are quite a few Aussies and it means we can a specific place for brands and where-to-buys.

Going Gold - Is it worth it?

I am considering getting a gold membership, but I'm not sure if I can justify it.  Swaying is becomming incredibly expensive, what with OPK's and BBT T's, and Vitamins and Girl food.. Not to mention PH testers and PH changing supplies.. My understanding is that if I go gold and write up what I am looking at doing, someone who knows "whats what" will have a squiz at it and tell me what they ...

Re: Any Aussies keen to start a thread?

So, currently looking at supps.. I am thinking blackmores, because thats what i usually take, but MAN thats going to get expensive.. At this stage I will be on: Folic, Calcium and magneseium mix, vitamin c and cranberry from AF - O, then probably Pregancy gold from jsut after O until AF Will give acidophlis a go if i really need it... Not keen on vitex, b6 or saw palmetto.. What do the rest o...

Re: Pink foods - Ideas for meals - can you guys check my list please?

Thanks so much for the help guys! No idea on the pesto, the idea is stolen, I think I got it from the Aussie thread, so maybe the original poster would know? I guess the high KJ in cream would have to be it, its packed full of calcium and as far as i know low in salt.. maybew i will just use it sparingly? I'm looking at the other recipe thread now.. Giving me so many ideas!  Also, I am lo...
