Im so sorry to hear your news and don't worry about answering my post to you. Its so much to go through. I think if you can bare another trip back, this time maybe just go on your own for as little time as possible - maybe keep an eye on really cheap flights. I'd give it a go. there's been so many success stories of FET's. I have heard odd stories of people bringing their embreos...

so Plan B does that mean youre the only Aussie to get a BFP out of SART - how many others have cycled there? In regards to aussies with BFP from HRC, I must say I only know of boyohboyohboy who cycled not long after me and is now 19 weeks. I hope we see more aussies jumping in this thread to help update. Fingers crossed for Wantingmyprincessyou're absolutely right about the 5 probe...

thanks everyone for your thorough answers. i only ever seem to hear great things about SART, i just wish we saw more ladies cycling there with more successful pregnancy's. ive been on this board for 2 years now on and off, but think we've only seem JJN and plan b. Is that correct? im seeing my local dr next week so will also check what she's heard. with pgd, apparantely the more probes...

Hii there, I thought I would start a new thread as I know 4 of us are weighing up between SART and HRC. In brief, I researced high tech for 18 months and spent a lot of time talking to Dr Viwat at SART but in the end decided on HRC as i was 39 and we knew it was our only chance at including Microsort. Plus we took our 3 boys so turned it into family holiday including Disneyland, Legoland etc...

Our total cost from Australia ended up being $50,000. We unfortunately wen't when the aussie dollar crashed at 60 cents to US$1 so it's much better to go now at 93 cents. We flew the whole family over and then continued on a holiday and drove from HRC to Los Vegas, great and easy drive of about 8 hours by memory, maybe even shorter like 6. The kids loved it and we chilled in a ho...

Good luck wantingmyprincess, i really really hope we see some success from SART. Do you mind me asking what protocol you were on and what medication you took? do SART get you to continue with progesterone and oestrogen injections in the 2ww and first 12 weeks. They were teh biggest killer of all for me. Also, who was your Dr. There are a couple of us weighing up between HRC and S...

also check prices overseas. We had to pay $175 for luveris here in Australia and I needed 2 viles per day for 11 days - OUCH, $3500 yet in America we could buy it for $50 a vile - we only discovered this when we got there and it was too late. Gonal F is subsidised by the government in Australia, but we ran out in america where it costs $1000 and is NOT subsidised unless on a health plan. Its...

Wanting my princess, good luck. how are you finding Superior Art, who's your Dr? Cloverbear, are you cycling soon? We're thinking of one last chance at pgd/ivf, im now 40, we have been trying to sway for past 5 months with no luck, but based on what you have to do it's no surprise it's so hard to fall pregnant. we are trying for O+12 plus TBM, and hole in condom, so it's all very full ...

hi everyone,Are there any aussies out there cycling soon? if so, anyone going to Superior Art. This boards seems to be fairly quite with aussie ladies cycling at superior art, does anyone know any other on-line chat sites where these girls might be hanging out?

hi there, we just did a cycle and abstained for 9 days and bd at O+12. we did a cycle of IVF/PGD and they really wanted us to abstain for 7 days when giving sperm, as this favors girl sperm. So we figured, if they're asking people to do that before doing Microsort there MUST be proven evidence that it does favor xx sperm. we have never actually asked them nor looked into this but...

hi everyone, I have just caught up on all your comments. for us, our first DS was on O day, 2nd DS was 2 day cut off, and 3rd DS was a 3 day cut off, so as you can imagine, Im nervous about cut off. For us, O+12 makes the most sense. I also think that the PH enviroment inside the uterus is important and lime wont reach there, so that's where diet comes into play. On O day PH rises but drops ...

thanks so much girls. Tamara or anyone, is there anyway to pull out those old threads on hole in condom and results on IG? excuse my ignorance, as we never use condoms, how do you know if a condom has spermicide - does it say on the packet? do some come with and some without?

thank you so much and I agree with most of what you're saying. My huibby did some research and he read that XX sperm lasted for longer than XY sperm hence why a cut off sometimes work. Problem is, every males sperm last different amount of time. This was just one paper we read. Tamara, if you read this, have you read much about this. We read that XX can last up to 5 days and XY lasts maybe 3...

thank you for that. but isn't the idea of spermicide to actually kill all the sperm? if lower sperm count sways girl then with TBM wouldn't that mean it's better to just insert a small portion of the sperm ?

Hi everyone, I had a look at the survery results on IG and it appears that when using cut off it doesn't show any greater chance for conceiving a girl, even up to a 5 day cut off which actually favors boys. Im so confused about what method to try and we're really struggling pinpointing my actual O time. I have O on day 14 for past 5 months with a 28 day cycle but this month thought of maybe ...

hi opel, DEFINITELY get gonal F here, it's subsidised by government and VERY cheap -can[t remember how much but something like $20 yet in america its $1000!!! per pen. I needed one more pen just before stiming and was almost in tears - fortunately i met a canadian girl on IG who had one pen spare. they get all the money back from their insurance company. I had to order another med here in au...

Tiramisu, Im really sorry to hear this news. This feels a bit like a dej a vou from the month I cycled where 4 of us were being suported by so many women on this site and we all got BFN. Hi there,I know there has been a few of you who have been to SART recently, and sorry to hear of BFN. The month I cycled we had 6 girls with BFN all in a row and the following month there were about 5 BFP all in a row? I have been following this site for almost 2 years now and things just seem to be so random. I was wondering if you girls met and stayed in contact with other auss...

Hey Grasshopper, Im really sorry to hear your news, but you have the right attitude. I sent soutern dreamer a long message about my experience after PGD/IVF. But when we got ...
