Re: When did you get AF after high tech BFN or miscarriage?

I don't know if this will help because I didn't have a D&C but my miscarriage was on September 1st, I O'd on Sept 28th and just got my first period on October 13th.  I know my beta was not down to 0 until the week of Sept 14th.

Re: Do embryos that have had a cell removed for PGD fare worse than non-PGD embryos after freezing?

HRC uses vitrification.  I was told that the clinic I decide to do my FET at needs to use vitrification as well to thaw the embryos.

Re: Got an update on my hematoma today...

Hi Laura,  I am so so happy for you!!  I can't imagine how difficult it has been to go through everything you have.  I am so happy that things are starting to look better so you can start to enjoy this pregnancy.

I'm so sorry, I really wish you did not have to go through this.  You know you can PM me if you want to talk.

So cute!  Congratulations!!

Re: Can anyone relate?

I could have written your post, you sound exactly like how I feel.  I only have 1 frozen embryo left so I even have less hope that my FET will work out.  There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of having a DD but my HT journey has been going on for over a year now and I am starting to get tired of being so focused on this and feel like my life is on hold while I wai...

Re: Vitamins and Supplements for FET
What about acupuncture? Are you including that?
I did acupunture for the first time on a weekly basis for my last cycle starting a few months before.  I think the acupunture and vitamins combined with the right protocol made a huge difference for me.  I went from having 5 eggs each time in my first two cycles to having 21 this last time....night...

Re: 4th beta

Hi Twoboysandcounting, first off I am so sorry you are having to go through all this it is such a nightmare.  I know how you want this to be done with I totally understand but I do not think you should go off your meds until your ultrasound.  You only have a week left and at that point you will know much better what is going on.  I think betas can only tell us so much and yes i...

Re: 10w5d - Had another u/s, hematoma is smaller (finally!!)

Great news!!  You must be relieved the hematoma is getting smaller.  Glad both girls are doing well!

Re: Sharing my Happy Ending

Congratulations on your daughter, I can only imagine how wonderful it must feel to have your family complete!  Your post gives me a lot of hope for my upcoming FET.  I have gone through 3 IVF cycles, a no transfer, a BFN and just recently a miscarriage.  I have 1 frozen embryo left which is not top quality either.  Your post has really given me the hope to keep dreaming, t...

Re: Vitamins and Supplements for FET
I would drop the calcium and magnesium, wheatgrass, and RJ/BP.  Then I would add baby aspirin, other than that I wouldn't add anything. Good luck with your FET!!!!!
Hi Michaela, I'm glad you responded you seem to know a lot about vitamins/supplements.  Just curious why you would recommend to drop the calcium/mag and the wheatgrass? ...

Vitamins and Supplements for FET

Hi ladies, I need some help with what kind of vitamins and supplements are good for a FET.  I am trying to move past my recent miscarriage and focus on something positive.  I have one little frozen embryo left which I will probably be able to transfer this coming December or January.  For my IVF cycle I was taking a prenatal vitamin, folic acid, calcium and magnesium, vi...

Re: 3rd beta

I am sorry you are stuck in limbo it really is the worst feeling.  Unfortunately I think the only thing to do is wait for your ultrasound.  I hope that you get to see a healthy little baby in there!   GL!!

Re: 2nd beta is in

I am not the best person to ask because that is what happened to me and things did not turn out well.  I really really hope they turn out differently for you and I don't think you will know either way until you have an ultrasound.  Sorry you are going through this it really sucks when you have to wait to find out what is going on.  GL!!

Re: Had another "bad" episode... it's not good

Laura I am so sorry, how frightening!!  I will be praying for you and your little girl to come through strong.

Re: Should I do PIO tonight?

I would definitely still do it!  I was still taking mine until I knew with absolute certainty(after a gazillion ultrasounds) that there was no baby.  I know it's hard but you can't give up yet.

Re: 1st beta is in, and it's not very good

Hi twoboysandcounting I hope it all works out for you!!  What I have gone through is a nightmare I would not wish on anyone.  I also thought my first beta was low based on when I got my first positive on an HPT.  I tried to tell myself maybe she was a late implanter but it didn't make sense.  My second beta and third betas were rising really nicely too so that gave me so m...

Re: threeboyz4me Good luck at your U/S!!!

Thanks for thinking of me but the news was not good.  There is still no baby or heartbeat, just an empty sac that has not grown from last weeks ultrasound.  I am waiting on my beta levels and if they have not gone up significantly from last week I imagine HRC will have me stop my medication today.  Now I have to decide on whether to allow my body to miscarry naturally or have a D&am...

Re: has everyone who cycled with hrc recently got BFP?,,,,,
Hardly. Out of the seven July cyclers at HRC (that we know about)- only 3 are pregnant which means a 43% chance.  Pretty much what they told me when I had my consult.... It seems like more because a lot of us (with no transfers or BFNs) don't post much right now.
I am going to still count myself pregnant until I know for sure that things are...

OMG that is just so crazy!!  I would be freaked out to but you will find a way to make things work.  I am so glad that alll three of your girls look healthy.  Congratulations!!!

Re: First ultrasound results - 6w5d

OMG congratulations GZ!!  I thought you might be having 2 but did not want to say too much because I knew your preference was 1.  I am so happy both girls are looking great.  I would be in shock also if I found out I was having twins.  I do have to say though that I absolutely love having 3 kids, and your girls will have a playmate in each other for life, how amazing ...

Re: I had my ultrasound today...

Laura I am so thrilled for you!!  I was checking for your post all morning but then had to go out for a couple of hours.  I am so happy you got to see your little girl with a strong heartbeat, what a great feeling!
