Re: If you have three or more kids and your first two were boys.......

Thank you everyone for your replies and/or votes! For some really weird reason, I totally have the mind set that you're more likely to conceive a girl after 3 or more boys than after only 2. I guess I/m in the camp of 'the more times you get the same gender in a row, the more likely you are to conceive an opposite the next time. Unfortunately for me, dh will not keep on going. It took a lot for hi...

Re: Have I watied to long?

Lukes princess~ I am just now seeing your post. Thank you so much for your kind and beautiful words! i did find out that due to a high deductible we have with our insurance, fertility tx is not covered until we meet that deductible, and since it is so high, tx is out of the ? since we just can't pay it out of pocket. They wouldn't tell me how much even a consult with the doc would be, whcih ...

Visit with Nurse leaves me still with mire ?'s than answers....

So I had an appointment with my N.P. today and discussed with her issues that have been going on with my cycle......short L.P., spotting before AF........she basicially went straight to "infertility" (we have been trying for 4 cylces). She said depending on my insurance....that would dictate treatment. If my insurance would cover it, then the first step woulbe be to see my Doctor and discuss...

Re: Have I waited too long?

Thank you girls so much for all your replies and encouragement. I have an appointment next week for my annual and will address my concerns then, although I'm not too hopeful....my NP is from the mindest that there are too many risks with conceiving when you're over 35. I do believe I have an LP defect b/c I spot every month for a few days before AF which I've read is not right. My normal LP ...

Re: Have I waited to long?

Melody~  I get major pms right before AF as well. I usually spot about 3 days before but sometimes it's up to 5. The really weird thing is, my temps don't drop until after AF shows. So I don't know what to make of that!  I'm scared to start this whole testing process, for fear that I'm going to be told something i don't want to hear. KWIM? Plus, I know for a fact that dh will not g...

michaela, a couple of ?'s for when I see my Nurse Prac.

Michaela~ I had originally posted this ? in my other thread from yesterday but wasn't sure if you saw it so that's why I started a new post.....I made an appointment with my NP for my annual exam. There, I will address my short LP and the spotting I've been having before Af. Everything I've read says that spotting before Af is abnormal. That surprised me b/c I have always spotted before Af a...

Re: Have I watied to long?

Melody~ you are right, we do start to get scared when we realize our fertitlity isn't waht it used to be. I just know something isn't right though. then everything I've I've read says that spotting b/t periods is abnormal. I had no idea and I've spotted b/t periods for a very long time. I alwyas thought this was my normal to spot a few days before Af. It does make it all the harder when...

Re: Have I watied to long?

Melody ~ Well, I made the appointment with Ob. It's in 2 weeks so we'll se how that goes. If I don't like what she says I will find someone else who wil help me. I have been ttc since Aug, but we took a break in Oct and Nov, so only 4 cycles. you are right, swaying pink makes it harder, but I'm to the point where I just know I want another baby, boy or girl. In December, I dropped the douchi...

Re: Have I watied to long?

Melody and michaela, thank you girls for replying. It feels better to hear you guys say that you still think I can have another baby. Wow, going through this outs it all in perspective, doesn't it? The last time I went to my OB, it was a year or so ago for my annual check. I told the NP then that we were going to be ttc. She handed me all these pamphlets on "advanced maternal age" and pamphl...

Have I watied to long?

Hi, I haven't posted on IG in a looong time, mostly b/c I've taken this last year to really soul search and decide if i want another baby or if I only want a girl. I just had to come to a spot where I would accept either gender before i got pg. Well, now that I'm there, I'm afraid I've waited to long. I turned 35 in Sept. i've never had issued with my cycle whatsoever. I have alway...

Re: baby comp ?'sss

Don't waste your $$ with baby comp. I have it adn have been using it for the last 18 mo. It predicts your O day from the start and once it gets to know your cycles, it does become more accurate in predicting O. It confirms O after your cycle ends so you can go back and see what day you actually O'd. Sometimes I ? its accuracy though. For instance, it will confirm O once I have one elevated t...

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-July 2009

Hey Girls! I have a few ?'s for anyone who knows.....first, I tried the mesh with milk yesterday and when I took the nipple and mesh out it didn't appear that any had seeped into the milk. I didn't see any, anyway, so can I assume I'm good there? It's hard to know b/c e/w is well, white! Also, when you have done s/u with the mesh and take the nipple out, how much of the sample do you remove? F...

Hello Violette and welcome to our group! I will do my best to answer some of your questions. Maybe some of the other girls can chime in as well.
1. Are any of you doing TBM after SU? Because it seems to me that if you add a little to much lime you will kill all the sperm and  you have ruined your attemp. Is anybody else affraid for this?
Yes...

Re: Harder then I thought, friend having girl!

I could have written that exact same thing! My SIL found out in March she was having a girl and I was so upset. Not upset that she was having a girl, but upset that I will never get the chance to have mine. Well, she had her girl last night. Now every time she talks about "her" and says her name and talks about pretty pink bows, etc.....that familiar twinge comes back. I was surprised to by my ...

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-July 2009

Ok, girls I think I've got it! I tried with water instead of semen but the ew did not sink into the water!!!! YAY! I didn't actually rubber band the mesh though. I wrapped it around the nipple and when I shoved it in the tt, it was so snug around the nipple that the mesh stayed, quite snugly. Do you girls think that is ok? I can't even tell you how excited I am. It's like you girls have made SU s...

Re: SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group-July 2009

Thank you soo much for explaining in detail to me!!!! So i did all that but I'm just wondering, do you just rubber band the mesh around the wide opening, so that the opening is still open, right? then the eg white just goes in the opening. You're basically just rubbering banding the mesh so it's covering the bottom. That's the idea, right? At first I thouhgt you meant to rubber band it around th...
