I just HAD to post - DH and I have two DD's and went for a midwife appointment on friday, and midwife guessed we were having our third baby girl. We were given all girl guesses on our 13 week nub shots and two 50/50 guesses, even our friends and family thought we were definitely having another [DD]. Needless to say we were convinced this was our third baby girl. Our 20 week scan was straight ...

Congrats! It definitely looks like a [DS]! I know there are a couple of us on this board at the mo with two DD's and hoping for a son [:)] So far it looks like we all have a baby boy on the way! Such a great feeling [HL]
By the way I had all girl nub guesses on mine - I think we were actually seeing a thigh bone and a hand - not a nub. Yours most definitely looks like the classsic boy nub! C...

Its a BOY!! Not one boy guess, but two posters (one tech) told me 50/50 as no nub was showing - and they were right! Feeling very over the moon and happy because he is healthy :-)

I'm not a tech - but have seen many girl ultrasounds - and that looks very girly to me :-) Congrats [:-)]

Thank you everyone! I'm still not sure whether we are seeing a nub in either shot with mixed opinions, but still think this website is a wonderful way to pass the time during the big wait. This baby will be a cherished part of our family [DD] or [DS], and I really cant wait to find out and update the post!

I understand! I am really wanting #3 to be "our boy". My 20 week ultrasound is on the 23rd December. My heart beats fast with nervousness every time I think about it. I will be updating when we know. Good luck! [GLC] I hope we both get our [DS]

I understand completely :-) We find out in 12 days at our 20 week scan whether #3 is [DS] or [DD] after two DD's. I try so hard not to think about it so that I dont get my hopes up - but it is so hard! EVERYONE thinks we are having another girl, and have received no boy guesses on nub shot. At first I really thought this baby was a boy, but doubt has gotten the better of me, and now I think ...

I have wondered this very thing myself too! Although I am not a tech either I have heard that there is a higher rate of girls 'becoming' boys at their 20 week scan than the other way round. It does seem logical to me that a definite boy nub would stay a boy nub. I look forward to other peoples opinions! And yes to me that is a definite boy nub - congrats [DS] and good luck [GLC]

I say girl! First pic looks exactly like my eldest daughters 12 week scan - forked and almost 'separating' at the end. Good luck!

I'm really tempted to say girl! But I don't see the three lines so definitely couldn't say for certain (but I'm no tech). Looks very similar to my 20 week ultrasounds and I have two girls [:)]

Not a tech - but have just seen your second pic - it looks exactly like my first daughters pic at around 12 weeks - she had a very clear line down the middle also. Good luck! Hope you get your girl [GLC]
