Besides Newbabys tragic story, it happened to another woman on here as well. I forget her name but she wasn't happy she was having a second son (we've all been there) and then tragically she lost him at 33ish weeks. I would have kept going until I had a girl, and I hope either this one I'm pregnant with or the number 6 we hope to have will be a sister for her. So to the OP I understand you. I've been told you can't tell where you ovulating based on pains. A good example of this is when you are having an ectopic pregnancy you can feel pain in your shoulder... Sometimes pain isn't predictable. I wouldn't waste months based on it.

I know exactly what your going through. I had 9 scans with DD and each one I was terrified. I eventually had in it my head that God just wanted me to think the baby was a girl for some reason, and I had anxiety the rest of my pregnancy. The first question I asked when I pushed her out was "is it a girl??" Then I saw with my own eyes and I burst into tears and sobbed and sobbed.

I would have loved twins with this pregnancy. I was fantasizing about B/G twins. I did have a twin feeling, but only one in there. That's ok too, but I was a little sad.

Well that pic isn't awesome for gender. The legs are really close together and I don't see girl parts, I don't see boy either. I'm sure she got a better look during the scan though.
