Thank you so much. I really hope this is my same exact story one day (aside from the miscarriage, which I am very sorry for:(Might I ask how it was the first few years with the two boys close in age? What really stands out as being difficult? What stands out as being wonderful?

def want to wait like 4 5 years and enjoy my boys the best i can, and
then have a girl, well that would be my perfect story, but we know it
doesnt always work out like that, and which worries me, what if its
another boy 5 years from now, and they are so far in age from his other
2 brothers and doesnt have a connection with them?I have this same concern. But I know that I want to en...

but we made such a beautiful boy that i can only imagine what a girl would look like!it's totally vain but i feel that way too! And no they are not his. You'd think with the amount of attachment he had to them that they were. Trust me he's shared emails of the past between them and ones they wrote trying to weasel him back into communication with them (the mother is awful and use...

I am expecting DS2 in July. Overall I am very happy about this. In fact, I would have chosed a BBG family from the beginning before I even had kids. But, when I found out DS2 was a boy I got panicked about never having a daughter. We were leaning toward just having two kids due to money, time, all that stuff- despite my always wanting three and him being ok with it. ...

I wanted the PP actually (wasn't 100% sure we were going for 3) and am going to have boys 14.5 months apart! So it is opposite scenario for me. Now though I am so excited about seeing the relationship two brothers can have together. I think either way with two kids being so close it brings such uniqueness and goodness regardless of gender. You will either have a son a...

it's legit. it's neat for the purposes of finding out the gender. but it makes me nervous about the implications.

I've actually been seriously considering this after reading all the stellar reviews. But I keep telling myself I don't need to buy any more stuff after filling our house with the first two. Maybe it will be more tempting after the little one arrives ie... if she has problems sleeping or with reflux. Oops...hope I didn't just jinx myself!
lol. i think i'm going to get it. ...
It gets me so sad/angry reading posts like this one.
I know you are looking for support, etc., but having 4 boys myself (all wonderful, loving and good boys overall) it really annoys me to read this kind of boy bashing, based solely on gender.
Gd has given you an amazing blessing: a pregnancy with a healthy boy. Cherish it, be grateful, be happy! I would have kind of ...

interesting. i ask this bc it's sort of the bane of my GD existence. i always always wanted boys until meeting DH and he had dated a woman with two girls and how he put those little girls on a pedestal! it made me want girls and guess what? we have two boys lol. anyway i'm wondering if maybe my thought process fueling my gd was even widely shared! interesting.

or vice versa, or doesn't matter. It seems like of all the men I've known that have dated single moms, they have had girls. I always assumed it was because girls were less of a threat, not as protective over mom, or that sons remind a man too much of the biological father? I am not sure if that is even accurate though, just what I have noticed in my life.thoughts?
