I think last summer was like that too.
I do have a theory....I have been thinking about it for a while.
I have probably read almost every article on the face of the earth on IVF since January. One of the things they mention so much is blood circulation. More blood circulation to uterus=higher success (hence accupuncture helps). Hot summer days=more blood circulation, I have fo...

Grits,
How were your labs? I really don't remember you having a high fsh or low afc. I am seriously wondering if you were on the wrong protocol. Its happened before on here. Based on your labs (if I remember them correctly), I would give it another try, at another clinic if necessary. My counsel would be completely different if your labs sucked, but in your case I th...

If your doc is not comfortable with GS (Not all of them are), I would suggest cycling with a reputable one that is. After the baby is born and you are ready for another cycle (or even before), start your research. This site is great for information. Also, I am not sure if you can do PGD on embies that are already frozen (Can you, NBP?). Its worth it to ask. Sounds like you respond great tho...

If you are OK with 3, why not do the PGD now and go back for your leftovers and do a FET whether they are boy or girl? At 27, I would think you should make some embryos!
[/quote] I agree! You have a great shot!

That is a great idea. I have seen at least 2 IG members who are going to do just this (go bac...

I hope so. She didn't look at me weird or anything once I got home. I was just glad someone *was* home period. I hadn't realized someone had to sign for that until late. Otherwise my Lupron would have just baked away in some 100 degree room in our post office I am sure. So I guess it worked out ok in the end (fortunately). [HL]

I had terrible fertilization of the "natural" side and they were all the wrong gender- we could have done that on our own!

Very interesting.
The egg is the one which "chooses" the sperm with the correct lock/key mechanism...funny how you have all girls and your eggs naturally chose all girl sperm even in the dish when 50:50 wo...

Thank you nuthinbutpink! I like that it guarantees fertilization. I didn't really know what it was exactly. I do see lots of posts where people will post how many eggs fertilized, etc. That makes sense. So howcome you did 50/50? Is ICSI a one time fee/cycle? I hope so, I don't think I can afford to pay $2000 per egg.

If you absolutely want a girl for your second child, PGD is a must. People try MS IUI and sometimes get opposites. THis is a fine option if you are ok with potentially getting another boy. However, if you want to make sure its a girl, then do IVF/pgd (like Liv said).

I haven't been posting as much either, due to how busy things have been, AND my nerves about my upcoming cycle. However, i still pop in and check on people and their cycles, especially those I have gotten close to. But ok, here are my answers (I love these kinds of threads):
1. I am going to extremes because I truly don't see a daughter in my future otherwise and I...

No way. Do not take your link down. Michaela, listen to me. People set up the donation link for you, you did not set it up yourself, so you are not "begging for money". They did it because you are supernice and help everyone on here, I know this first hand. It was a way to say thanks for all your contributions. Its not like you just started a month ago on IG and were then like, "Hi, give ...
