Hi Everyone,
Just letting you all know that I'm having a c-section this Wednesday due to bad tearing last time and the fact that I could loose the use of my back passage muscle. It was a very hard choice to make as I'm petrified of needles and the thought of having one in my back ouch. Also after three natural births is just seems so weird.
So good luck to the rest of you...

Thanks for that my babies were only 9 pounds 4 ounces the biggest one and he was induced a week early because of his size the doctor at the clinic doesnt actually know how big this baby is and she said she doesnt want to guess, she said they just have to offer me the c-section because of the tearing last time and as this time they may not be able to repair the bum muscle the choice was mine. ...

Last week I went to my appt at the ANC and they gave me the option of having a c-section or being induced as with my last birth I had a 3rd degree tear which went into my sphincter. They have offered the c-section as if this happens again there is the chance that I could become incontinent in that area. It's all up to chance and I dont know what to do my own GP has advi...

I had Marnie, Heidi and Jamiee picked out and it was going to be them three and then I was watching Quintessential and one of the babies was called Brenna which is not really popular over here in fact I'd never heard of it and the more I said it the more I really like it. Is it a common name in the US? Alice is my grandmothers name I like to name my children after family members with there secon...

Obviously only thinking of himself and not of his wife or daughter, she has to go through life with that name and he acts like it's a big joke. That really makes my blood boil[8o|]

Hi,
I've got a problem that I've never had with my other two boys in the fact that my 2yr and 7 month old son refuses to put undies on. I've tried pull ups, going naked, training pants and his just throw a tamptrum and gets so upset until I put him in a nappy. I've told him that big boys wear undies and he tells me that he is a bubby and wears nappies, my husband is of the opion...

I dont think you look that big, but you are carrying differently and with number 4 our muscles are not as strong and supportive as they were for the previous pregnancies so I also think this is why you may feel bigger, I know how you feel as I'm getting people who I dont even know coming up to me and saying "your going to have that baby any minute and gee are you sure your only having 1 and not tw...

Hi,
Here in WA, Australia I work for the government so I'll get 14wks paid maternity leave (they are currently in the process of increasing this to 16wks) but I dont get any of my weekend penalties so I will loose a little bit of money. Then you can take up 2 years unpaid leave which I'm only taking 6 months off as I work weekends and DH will look after the kids.

I had no morning sickness for my first 2 which were boys but for the last two pregnancies which were a boy and a girl I had shocking morning sickness I lost 8kgs through morning sickness with my son and 3 with my daughter. I have noticed in this pregnancy that my breasts which did get bigger with my boys are now huge, but I'm not sure if this has got anything to do with having a girl.
