Re: for louby, maybeoneday and allguys

Hope you don't mind me dropping by but just wanted to say that we are going to Genesis in Spring 2012. I can no longer have babies naturally so this is my final chance. I have spent years trying to persuade my DH & at last he has said yes! Savvas seems very kind & genuine so I have to give this a go. It's only money after all & one day it will be paid back...maybe in 20 years but who cares!!!

Re: feel so alone in house full of males

Bless ya..please don't feel down there are lots of us feeling the same as you & we are all here to cheer each other up!! I now believe that you cannot sway or predict the babies gender in anyway. It's like the toss of a coin.....which ever sperm gets there first. It is very hard, I had GD from my very 1st child as I never wanted a boy, only 1 child...a girl!!!....but....my little chaps have h...

Re: I have been lurking for a while. . . . but sadly have my own story to tell, just need to get it off my chest

Bless you....it is so hard sometimes. Your story is so like mine but the other way round! My DH has a pigeon pair from his 1st marriage, girl first then boy. When we met, I always said I just wanted 1 child, a girl......well...you've guessed it....we have gone on & had 5 boy's. He has tried so hard for me to give me what I so badly desire. He knows it's extremely hard for me when he has what I so ...

Re: Help - Not excited about new baby and overwhelmed with self-pity

I am so sorry you didn't hear the news you were so hoping for. I actually gave up the 'god thing' altogether after DS5 arrived & it's taken me about 20 months to start praying again!!! It is so hard, give yourself time & don't let anyone rush you, it really takes time to accept that your dream has not happened again this time. I unfortunately became infertile after another Ectopic in the Summer...

Re: PGD in Europe

Firstly, Hi & Welcome. Bizarrely, I haven't been on here for a while as recently had another Ectopic which has left me infertile so I've tried to take a bit of a break )-: Also....I too am scared of flying & didn't fly for 18 years.....this (along with cost) is a main reason for not doing PGD! There are lots & lots of different clinics that could help you. If you look on the 'High-tech' boar...

Re: Best of the Best No-Brainer comments.. add yours

I get..... 'All yours?''.......then....'All boys?'......then..... 'At least you've got yourself a '5-A-Side Football Team'.......... as if I am the slightest bit interested in football....hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although the coaches leg's are quite nice to look at!! I always get the...'Well, you'll probably have loads of grand-daughters'. No shit Sherlock!!!! With 5... I won't even be able...

Re: Bawled in the bathroom for 45 min, GD strong as ever!

Bless you...GD can be so cruel... it can effect us all in so many ways. I never wanted a boy & have 5 & it looks like I can't have anymore. I would give the world & more for just 1 daughter. I hope things turn out ok for you (-:

Re: How common is GD really?

Believe me, it's a lot more common than people realise. I've had 100's (literally) of women contact me though Facebook thanking me for speaking out!! Most said they were too ashamed to admit their feelings. It was a real eye opener for me & made me realise I did the right thing in going public.
