Wow! sounds like a great attempt! Do you have a detailed post somewhere I would love to read it all! Crazy!! So did you just purchase all of this or did you already have it? You are using the clomid to just make a more girl friendly enviro. or do you want to try for twins? Ovidrel so you can get the timing just right? Ok I need details, lol!

Can they really get a pretty good idea of how well you will respond to stims at baseline by counting your antral follicles? I know there are so many follies in there but the ones that might be in contention are the ones that are already grown a little? So if I have say 10 good antral follicles in theory with gentle stimulation i should get maybe half of those to grow to maturity? What is considere...

Yes, this is what i am talking about. The" potentials" if they have a good idea how many potentially you will have by cd5 and if you can still grow more if not enough or scale back down on dosage so not all develop if too many? I am doing full monitoring cd2/3, 5,7,9 and then on.

I know the IG gals have had success this way...can MS even tell you how they have had more BFPs? Injectibles or clomid? Do they have stats for that? It seems that the OPK thing is the way to go around here...

ya, i am think ing of going for a little extra monitoring in the beginning, i guess i don't want my response to be too good if i start with a higher dose and then have all these follies to try to deal with so probably a little lower dose is good and then up it from there. Would you expect to see approx. how many follies you might have total on cd5 after 2 days of stims? Or do you need more stimmin...

I guess I am not talking specifically about me but more generally how does this work, what would you expect to see? Generally, is it possible you can grow more follies a few days into stimming if the dose is increased? Is it also possible to "decrease" your follies so only a few get big and mature if the dose is adjusted?

Unfortunately, no. i am trying to come up with my own ideas to tell my oldest,8, when i am always gone for monitorings, etc. Not going to be easy! But if anyone has any ideas, I'll take them too, lol!

thanks ladies! From what I understand your LH starts out low - less than 7mIU - and stays that way just before your surge and then begins to shoot up quickly to approx. 20-30 mIU. So I guess if they were to catch you as you were "climbing the hill" to your surge it would be somewhere around ~ 10mIU-20mIU? Hi ladies,
just wondering if some of you could give me the number range i could expect to see at my day2/3, day 8 blood draws and what the range would look like when i am just about to and am surging? So I know at the first blood draw it is usually low, like less than 7 miu( somsthing like that)? What was your experience with this.

i agree with what the ladies are saying. For us , IVF was not an option so we are doing IUI in Oct. You need to know about the process before you enter in to have best results, supps help, medicated cycles with clomid or injectibles ( higher # of eggs) but need careful monitoring because you don't want to overstim or get soo many eggs that they cancel. there have been quite a few successes years ...

personally, I don't feel comfortable doing MS in Mexico for a number of reasons. So no that is not an option for us. There is no way to move my schedule around and honestly I feel fine with waiting till Oct. to cycle. I don't think it is wise to do things in haste and not fully prepared. God is in control and what will be, will be.

Balancing- I think that is a good decision to go ahead and get more IVF info. it is never good to make an important decision in haste which is also why I am waiting till we originally planned in Oct to cycle.
