I thought once the baby's born, my GD would disappear. My newborn is now 7 weeks, my feeling is getting worse and worse. Most people who had GD say that 'once you have your baby, you just fall in love with the baby...' It didn't work for me :( Is there anyone who feels the same as I do?

Forgot to mention that this new baby is more likely our last. My DH has done vasectomy after finding out that we were expecting No.4. We are also both around 40 too... time is ticking. Now I wish that he hadn't done it - to give me a little hope that we can still have a chance to have a DD...

I said that too when it was just my 3 boys...it changes...I am very happy with my little girl...I just feel bad that her brothers have brothers and she has just me..
That's how I felt too. When I have found out that we were expecting No.4, I hoped for a sister for my DD... and here came a little brother for her! I thought my GD was finally over when I had my DD. It still hasn't, it ca...

My boys are such good friends and I am so happy seeing them growing up together. That's a part of why I wanted a sister for my daughter. My boys are closer in age and there is age gap between my boys and my daughter too. Two sets of each gender was my dream, but now I'm expecting my 4th - my third boy. This is the thing we cannot choose boy or girl, we just have to accept and get on well with the ...

Firstly I'm so sorry for your loss... It is hard to get over any losses. I can relate to your feelings. I have two boys first and my third is a girl. I'm expecting my 4th and he is a boy. I thought I'm having a sister for my daughter and I'm sure that I could feel 'my family's finally completed'. Instead, I'm feeling unsettled. Realistically having four is more than enough for us and also m...

I'm on kinda same boat. I'd never known myself that my desire to have another daughter was that strong until getting know the gender. I still have the moments I wish I'm not even pregnant. I hate myself to think this way really. I've been posting some positive posts here, in reality, it is up and down. I know I should be happy feeling baby kicking, but I still feel fine myself when baby is quiet -...
Newbaby2011 you are an inspiration to many! I don't have as many kids but I do have those kind of days that seem to be impossible to get through! I definitly think its a minute by minute thing. I hope you have a neighbor or friend who can help you out and if anyone ever volunteers to babysit or give you a hand don't be too proud to accept it!!!!!!!!
I love hav...

Your post explain why the asian lady who were so happy for me having three boys! She is a shopkeeper and asked me my 4th's gender, as soon as I said boy, she was so thrilled and happy for me. Usually almost all the time, people react the opposite way, so I was wondering why. She has an only daughter.
Try not to listen any negative comments personal. We should value and enjoy our children who t...

Both photos are like mine. At 12w+ told girl, then at 20w+ told boy. After gender scan, it's all boy. But this is my case. Any chance having another scan? If it's driving you crazy, I recommend for you to have another scan - peace of mind!
