Yes I have heard antibiotics favours boys also, from the ladies at a-gender. I wonder what is the safe time frame before your attempt to have them if you are trying for a girl?Thanks for the extra information.[;)]Brianna

Oh you poor thing how awful for you. I have read antibiotics are no good for ttc a DD.You need to rest up regardless of anything ttc when you are so sick isn't a wise move anyway.Have a good cry, your turn will come before you know it.Brianna

Hi pinkshoes yes I think it thrives in an alklaine environment, have you tested your pH and are you sure it is thrush and not another type of infection? I would hit extra acidopholus.Brianna

This is all so fascinating. Martine Lafluer is a scam. I would go onto this site under natural gender selection and ask your questions, this site is very helpful and there is also a pinned section at the top for tips on ttc a girl.

I think it is all about environment, but I believe the 2nd wave of ejaculated semen is less alkaline, so by jumping and dumping you are getting rid of most of that. It would depend on the man and his pH though I would suspect.Brianna

I don't think it is necessarily that the short cycle favours girls, it is the ratio of estrogen to progestorone in your cycle. So if you have a long first part of your cycle it may mean more estrogen. I agree, if your cycle was nice and short I would be giving the vitex a big miss. Did the same for me and it just didn't feel right - like I was messing with something that was already good KWIM! Brianna

I agree, you have to have some form of balance otherwize not healthy. I am eating yoghurt and drinking milk, I have a little bread, mainly chicken, allowed veges a little potato - very restricted pasta and rice due to carbs, no added salt - no tinned foods, a little cheese not lots. Hi I didn't actually try Dr Jonas method but with DS1 I just happened to conceive him on my highest girl date. After I conceived I looked into this. So with my limited knowledge I really believed I was having a girl - alas I had a beautiful little boy.Brianna

I am no expert, but pineapple juice is a no-no on the girl diet.Also you are not supposed have heaps of protein either. strawberries are ok and milk too maybe mix with some type of cereal for thickening.Brianna

I agree - it is all so confusing, but I really do believe in some tings more than others, especially pH, I have seen heaps of evidence all over these boards how important it is. Diet I really don't know but as it afefcts pH maybe it works more effectively on some than others. Great idea, what about if they put (both ttc girl and ttc boy) ovulation date and time zone so those who know about moon signs can see if they conceived in a boy or girl sign?Also what about if anyone is on other vitamins/medications seperate to swaying supplements?BriannaAlso pH of both partners - you may already have this?
