I personally never got the impression that swaying was near guaranteed from the IG website. I do believe in swaying I think it increases your odds (but in no way guarantees anything). Even if it only slightly raised my chances to me it was worth it. It gave me peace that I had done everything I could do. I felt I had a chance of having a little boy, no more then that....

My little boy is doing really well. Hard to believe that he is 6 weeks old today.
Salted Popcorn is one of the snack suggestions in the boy cookbook that Tamara put together. I used plain popcorn kernals from the bulk bin popped them in my popcorn maker and added salt or celery salt to it (not buttered or anything)
Oh yeah for dessert I would often have Jello and peach slices

I am happy to say I am now in this category.
I was terrified as well when contemplating and starting ttc (not to mention during the pregnancy).
I did sway this time round. My attempt is on here.

HI.
Had my gorgeous boy 5 weeks ago. Don't know if it was all the swaying I did or just luck (I think it was the swaying but who knows)..
Breakfast: Sliced freash tomatoes on toast with salt and pepper. (most of the bread in New Zealand doesn't have calcium it also doesn't have sugar so its not sweet either)
Lunch: baked potatoes (with a yummy filling, salt and pepper or seasoning) ....

It sounds like she sees you as competition for her sons affection. I remember when dh and I first got married and had children there was massive resistance from some of dh's family/friends about him having different priorities (he was the first to marry/have kids) ...What do you mean you aren't going to ditch your 8 and a half month pregnant wife and go away for an expensive nigh...

Skanded: I am feeling the same way as you. WIth me I have 2 girls and have just recently had a baby boy. I love the relationship my girls have and love the idea of giving my little boy the same. I have started thinking more and more about it lately.
I dont think I have Gd now but I worry that if I try again (and Dh feels like we are done anyway) that those feelings would resurface.

I know how easy it is to think that it is somehow your fault when something so terrible happens to someone you love. To feel that you are being punished that if you had been a better person, that if you had done something differently this would not have happened. Hopefull: I know how frustrating it can be to be overdue.
I used something called labour tincture from the herbal shop, you take it every half an hour till labour starts (I went into labour/water broke an hour after I started taking it). Not sure if this is what did the trick or if it was just the fact that I was 7 days over and was a coincidence.
My baby will be 3 weeks tomor...

Hope that everyone is doing well.
Can't believe that my baby boy has been here for nearly a week it seems so unreal. He has been a really easy baby so far (touch wood). The girls are loving having this new addition to our family. I am so used to saying "the girls" when referring to our children that it strange having to now say "the kids" when referring to all 3....

He made his appearance at 8.30 Friday night (April 30th) [:-)]
He is absolutley wonderful and weighs a whooping 9Ib 2oz. It was a nice short labour starting with my waters breaking while I was out shopping [:$]

It's 7.30 am April the 30th and still nothing [:'(] 7 days late.
Feeling really depressed. THis was supposed to be one of the very few things that I could share with my Mum.

I was due April 23rd and Im still here [:'(]
I have never been overdue before. oldest daughter was on her due date, youngest daughter was 2 days early so this is completley foreign for me and I hate it.

Still nothing [:'(] am now 5 days over. Have never been overdue before.
Only 3 more days (including today) in April.
I am thinking about resorting to trying castor oil or hopefully convincing my midwife to do a stretch and sweep.

It's Anzac day tommorow so maybe baby is waiting for the public holiday so that it never has to go to school or work on its birthday.

Today is my due date. If nothing happens today then this will be my longest pregnancy ever. I expected them to keep getting slightly earlier. It feels like it is never going to happen.

Nothing to report yet unfortunatley
Got all excited last night that it might be all systems go as I was gettting weak contractions/strong braxton hicks that were coming regularly every 10 mins for about 3 hours last night. Alas when I went to bed it all slowed and then died off.
Well I'm off to do more "come on baby time to get a move on" thinking. Maybe eat some pine...
