Yes I had the same problem. It totally freaked me out but don't worry, a few days after AF leaves it will go back down.

[quote user="lovintwo"]thanks girls! Still plotting my schemes but IBS sounds like it might could work...of course, then there's Dh who would coincidentally need to be having issues too. LOL... ACK!!! Maybe we'll just make excuses and hope for a 1st-2nd month BFP! :/
Kiki--in all honesty, I'm not far from the girl diet already so i don't think it will affect me as much as DH...AND the pain...

I can relate to your concerns. I'm at a weight that is dangerously close to making me not O at all, in fact I'm kinda wondering if we're headed in that direction this month AND I'm on clomid so we'll see. I had to eat more during the previous 2ww and I ate off the diet because I didn't feel like I had any other options. As soon as AF started I worked to start losing the weight I had gained i...

Temping doesn't work for everyone. I know FF convinces you that it's foolproof but it's not. My BFF is a nurse who works in a fertility clinic no less and she said that temping can be very unreliable and they don't recommend it to their patients. My OB is a bigger fan of OPKs although she did get me started with BBT in the first place. FF can be off as well, in fact it was off the cycl...

This was absolutely my biggest concern. We eat out all the time and eat at the homes of friends and family the rest of the time-- seriously we only ate at home maybe 1-2 times a week before the diet days (we are saving SOOOO much money not eating out--it's my girly clothing fund). Anyway, I decided I had no choice but to tell my mom what we were doing. Initially her reaction was to be very s...

I'm doing both. I'm on my second clomid cycle right now. I don't know how I'll get pregnant with no cm whatsoever but I'm hoping that just bding constantly will both lower sperm count and help a few sperm manage to find their way to the egg.

I agree that the swaying in general is what is hard and not the particular gender. It seems hard to get whatever you don't have I'm guessing. And for someone who has a naturally low pH trying to raise it is probably just as hard as someone with a high pH trying to lower it. Both groups get stuck doing gross stuff like shooting lime up our hooha or drinking baking soda (blah!) I wish there wa...

Thank you so much for the clarification. I'm trying to follow your TW diet plan to a T and this info helps as I was planning to eat a small breakfast again in the 2ww. I will definitely not do that now. Can I pm you with a few more questions about TW?

You can, go to settings and you can pick what it tracks specifically. It will track potassium and calcium too. The only one it doesn't do is magnesium but I figure, with the supplements I'm getting more than enough.

My SIL and brother have a little girl and their having a girl threw me into a horrible spiral of depression which I'm over now that we're swaying and ttc ourselves. My niece is 6 months old and she's a sweet little one, very cute-- a good baby. It both irks me and makes me secretly smile every time she does something less than perfect. SIL is always so shocked. Like the other day, she was squirmin...

Seriously, try myfitnesspal. It's SOOOO much easier and has tons of restaurant foods already programmed in as well as many different brands. I've only ever had to put one thing in there that wasn't already there. Very helpful!

I tested this out and for me my ph goes down by the next morning so as long as you are well outside your fertile window I think it's ok but you should see how your own body responds. Personally last month (tmi) after not having the big O for so long it happened without me even trying so I'd rather control it at the right time rather than involuntarily have it at the wrong time, YKWIM?

I will literally pass out if I don't eat by 10. When I first started the diet I was trying out the no breakfast thing and I got thisclose to fainting in front of my students. I say your health comes first. You do what you have to do. I don't think 10am is bad if you've been up for several hours already. You could always go with something that is pure protein. I think that helps. I don't know...

I would think puffed rice is okay too. It's what I've been eating. It's just puffed white rice but that plus 2 packets of equal and I can get my milk for the day.

It's kinda hard to determine what is severe or not. I thought it was really bad but then I came here and I mean no offense by saying this, but I have come to find that many people feel/felt a lot worse than I did. It took me about 1 month to get over it and I was excited for my son by the time he arrived (well before that actually) but I did seek therapy for it and I still get sad sometimes ...

First, congrats on the BFP. I hope to be right behind you! Second, yes, I did have a fever during my first trimester with my DS. It was really strange too. I went to my OB appointment, I think I was somewhere around 9 weeks. They took my temp as usual and it registered 102. They were like, are you feeling okay? I told them no, I felt the usual first trimester crappy. They got really concerne...

See I don't know for sure but I think it has too much sugar. Could you try sweetening it with equal or splenda? I know, I HATE milk too. One thing I do is get puffed rice which is virtually air. I mean seriously it's just rice-- so sugar, no salt, no fat, no added vitamins or minerals. It's not fortified with anything except folic acid. I get my milk by adding that and eating it as a snack a...

I voted much lower. I had virtually none on some days. Every now and then I'd get it in some cheese but certainly not the daily allowance worth. Even now, I wouldn't hit 1000mg without supplements (with supplements I get about 1800mg) I despise milk and yogurt, I rarely put butter on things, I almost never eat ice cream, etc. Yeah, if you need calcium to get a girl I would certainly never get one ...

I voted the100% (second option) but I think that will be for this attempt and that is it. I am not strong enough to stay on this diet and by that I mean, it has weakened me so much that I can hardly do anything anymore muchless care for my child. So yeah, this is it. I'll have to get more nutrients from here on out. I might stick with the TBM. I'm actually to the point where I desperately wi...

Well, nevermind I guess.
As DH would say, I really "screwed the pooch" on that one. Did the best I could and was plesantly surprised that I did have another alternative-- chicken salad. I took the smallest one and only ate half the wrap. I took off the tomatos and only ate the chicken which was mixed with I think about the equivalent of 2 whole grapes. Having had so little salt lately, I ca...

Oh no oh on oh no....
O will be any day now. Teacher appreciation lunch is today. I had been told it was from Paneras. I was going to get the veggie sandwich and take off the tomato and only eat the cucumber and bread. Now I have been told it's from some place else and my only choices are turkey, ham and roast beef. WHAT SHOULD I EAT?????????? I can't make it through the day eating nothing ...
