Just to update, I felt all along this baby was a girl, but I daren't trust my instincts. I was right, she is indeed a girl, arrived 9 days ago. So my instincts were right 3 out of 4 times. I'm over the moon we finally have our daughter.

Oooh, good luck Dreaming. 3 boys is fab, my 3 have a great relationship. Not quite sure how the latest little girl will fit in. Promise I will post some pics as soon as DH sorts my computer.

Well this is our last baby. I will be 35 when this one arrives and we debated long and hard whether to try for this one due to our ages, and of course the fact we have 3 children already. I seem to go backwards and forwards over what I think this baby is. Sometimes I am sure it is a boy and other times I really feel it is a girl. Maybe it is my confusion you are picking up on. Baby girl Katie Erin arrived in haste on 2nd Dec. After I had the false alarms the rest of the morning was quiet, but just as DH went to collect the kids from school I started to get strong contractions that went from 30 mins to 15, to 7, to 5, to 3, to 2 to continuous in the space of about an hour. Just to update you all.....Baby Katie Erin arrived yesterday, very rapidly after a 1 hour labour. Midwife did not get here in time, and DH delivered our first daughter. We are over the moon we have a pink bundle, but due to the shock delivery it all hasn't sunk in yet. Well done pink guessers, but to the blue guessers, it was a very tricky nub!!!!

Just a quick post to let you know that we did indeed have a little girl (we did not find out gender until birth) and she was in a great hurry to get here. I went into labour at 15:35, on 2nd Dec. I was planning a home birth. Rang the midwife about 4pm and Katie arrived 30 mins later, 5 minutes before the midwife arrived, delivered by my husband. I was in labour for less than an hour...

Was up half the night with strong Braxtons. Thought it may be the start of something, especially when they carried on every 15 mins this morning for a couple of hours. But after dashing around getting the boys off to school/nursery, things seem to have stopped, so I guess this is false labour which I had for 10 days with my last 2!! Hopefully I can bring some good news over the next few days.

Thanks for the latest replies. Was up half the night with pains, then strong Braxtons every 15 mins for a couple of hours this morning, but it seems to have slowed now.
