I've got this for my son from Boden...somone in the supermarket yesterday told me he looked liked MC hammer...but they didn't say he looked like a girl lol

check out la redoute and vertbaudet too...they give good discount codes when you register too! don't think I have ever bought from them without one lol. I have got my new little guy tons of sleepsuits from there and there aint much blue! hehe.

I think i'd draw the line at the pink one, but other than that then sure, I would! Boden is great, I love them, wish they weren't so pricey though!!! I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate blue, grey, brown, beige, khak...yuck! I don't get on with 'normal' boys clothes at all so i'm always looking for the brightest things to dress mine in. honestly, I do sometimes wish I had gone through with not keeping the baby. I'm just as worried about having another baby now as I was then, it hasn't lessened at all. I'm still not over my PPD with DS and as the birth gets closer i'm becoming more terrified. I would never abort at a later stage as I don't agree with it at all unless for strong medical reasons, but i'm still struggling...

nope!! DD I had not a clue, DS I was convinced was a girl, in an arrogant way, I thought I would get what I wanted, and DS2 (this pregnancy) I tried to convince myself it was a boy to save my disappointment but everything to me screamed girl, from weight gain, bump size/shape, scan pic, nub shot, cravings, that I had hyperemesis like with my DD...EVERYTHING!! totally wrong x

that doesn't surprise me as you are so opposed to abortion yourself. I seem to remember that when I was in a horrible position of having this unwanted pregnancy you were one of the most unsupportive about on this subject....unsupportive would be putting it nicely.

I thought this too....but....I also think women call the shots with babies. they carry them, care for them, and even if they don't care for them, society 'expects' them to care for them. I was reading a sociological study recently...of men and women with children in full time jobs also..something silly like 92% of the women in the full times jobs did all the housework and weekend childcare w...

very much agreed. I can't believe he would put such pressure on you, it is very cruel of him to say he wants to do this, even if you don't terminate and it is a boy then you will always know thats what he wanted to do. If you really feel you can't keep him, surely adoption would be a better option, to avoid ending his life over gender? I know some people feel really strongly about it b...

I did the same thing, had an early gender scan and then went in for 20 wks scan with some hope it was a girl...even though there was no way that penis and scrotum I saw at 16 wks could have gone back in lol. It is, as someone else said, human nature to cling on to a bit of hope. I think if it were the other way around i'd be more worried about it changing though, ie being told girl and it be...

lol sounds like my reaction just about every time I told people I was having a DS after DD!! But seriously 99% of people would have reacted that way...when you have one gender its natural for people to assume you want the opposite, i accepted that. don't worry xxxx
