Hi here is my 19 wk gender shot. We asked that she not tell us, I'm not sure I need guesses, as I have a pretty good idea as to what the baby is.
Here is my question for CharlieCats. I had a Level II US today as I am AMA. The US tech spent at least 20-30 minutes looking at the heart alone and doing the flow studies. She also took measurements of my fluid level at least 5-7...

I'm still suffering from MS (hyperemisis)! yuck! The heartburn just adds insult to injury. Just give me one or the other. When I finally can eat or drink I feel horrible because of the heartburn.

I have my US scheduled for the Thursday (one week). I do not think I will find out right there. I think I will have the tech print a picture and write what the baby is and seal it in an envelope. I don't know how long that envelope will stay sealed.

Sounds exactly like what happened with me at my 15 week US, with the exception that the tech did not even guess gender, just said it was too early to tell. What you are describing is exactly what I saw on my US, I do not have any pictures of the dots I saw. I did not see any hanging down parts between the legs.

I had a scan at 15 weeks and was told it was too early. I did not see anything between the legs and swear I saw 3 dots (could be wishful thinking as I have 3 ds). I also have spent hours looking at US photos trying to see if what I saw was really what I saw, or if what I didn't see indicates anything. I am driving myself crazy.

I will have my US on February 28 at 18 wks 6 days. Praying for healthy. I think I'm too scared to find out the gender. I think I might have the tech print a picture and seal it in an envelope, and then open it when I am feeling more brave.

Thanks for the advice and well wishes. My dh suggested maybe having the tech print a picture, or put the results in an envelop so that we can just find out later. It would take the pressure off the actual US. It will be a Level II US, so I'm not sure if a doctor or a tech will be performing it.
