Hi Wendy, I'm wondering if you could answer some of my questions regarding inductionWith both of my boys I was medically induced because contractions didn't start after prolonged rupture of membranes.I want to avoid this at all costs with this birth. With DS1 I was given huge amounts of syntocinin (it's pitocin in the US)- 2 epidurals didn't work, so I had a spinal and they were going to...

New studies have been done which show that children that are born by ELECTIVE cesareans are far more likely to have respiratory problems. The reason for this is because these babies don't get the surge of adrenaline needed to clear out their lungs as they are passing through the birth canal.I was prepped for a caesar with my first and I finally dilated so was allowed to give birth naturally.I agree...

I had hypermesis with all 3.Much worse with current pregnancy though. Studies show that severe m/s is linked to girl pregnancies.

How far along are you now?

Have you been getting many Braxtons Hicks?
If i walk too much...
Are you walking like a man, waddling like a duck, or no change?
No change so far as my bump isn't big enough to be getting in the way yet.
Has tiredness hit you big time?
YES- very tired- it hits after lunch time
What have you bought so far for the baby?

I'm sorry to hear that your not feeling well. As the PP said, the sickness is probably a good sign-I had HG with all 3 pregnancies.Worst of all with this one.

I'm having a girl after 2 boys. When I found out I was pregnant I was devastated because i had itentions of swaying for a girl, because we knew it would be our 3rd and final pregnancy. I think through all of this God has shown me his sovereignity, because if I had done it on my time who knows.... Our oops baby may have been another boy.HOPE is a good thing.

This little boy is so blessed to have you as a mummy...As a christian woman I understand your reason for not swaying...and even if you had, God is above anything we as humans can do or attempt to do.Congratulations again...

My first sign of pregnancy all 3 times was extreme fatigue, so I know where your coming from.My iron levels are non-existant, and if I take iron supplements it just makes the HG worse.. 19 weeks and counting..

I also did the intellingender test, just to see how accurate it would be,...I already knew from 2 ultrasounds that I was having a girl. I followed the test precisely, and guess what I got? BOY...I wrote to them about it, and this is what they had to say... Hello,
We are sorry that the test was inaccurate for
you. Our girl results are 90% accurate and our boy results are 80-8...

My oldest is 2 1/2 now, He's been out of nappies (diapers) for about a yr now, He hasn't needed them at night since he was about 2. I started when he was 1, just by putting him on the potty first thing in the morning, and 20-30 mins after he had anything to eat or drink. At the beginning he'd only tell me after he'd already done it, so somtimes I'd just put him on because I thought he may nee...

I remember thinking about this when I conceived my 3rd (while DS#2 was 8 mths old) My logic was, nothing could have changed in such a short time, and therefore I must be having my 3rd son.Well, I dissprove the theory, because child 2-3 will be only 17mths apart, yet I'm having a girl, Also, I'm a young mum (23)...

Thankyou all for your wonderful comments, Doubt is rearing it's ugly head atm... is it possible that the songrapher just said what we wanted to hear?Because unlike with my ultrasounds with the boys the gender wasn't pointed out to me...what do you all think?I definately didn't see a willy even when she was around that area, I know they aren't supposed to tell you it's a girl unless they see ...
