I don't think the clothing deals before the holidays are that great. They put stuff on sale, yes, but it's never the clearance prices I like to shop for. I get the best deals on clothing at the end of each season, when the store has to clear the past season's merchandise to make room for the next one coming.

I read on a medical site somewhere (wish I remembered where - that would be helpful, huh?) that if you have had confirmed H1N1, you are immune to it and should not be in danger of getting it again. I wish I could find that again...although I'm sure all over the web there are conflicting ideas about this. Sorry, I guess this post has helped at all.[:$]

I bought a shoe shelf thingy this summer at a yard sale and it has helped keep some of the less-used shoes organized and in an area. But, we need to use it more [:P]. YES! And also make a note about how quickly they called you back. You will be surprised how many times you will need (want) to contact the nurse to ask questions about your sick child, or to see if they can squeeze you in for the day. The quicker they get back to you (and the nicer they are about it), the better. That's a good sign of the kind of attention you will receive ...

I can tell you what I do -- I use Burt's Bees shampoo (no chemicals = no burning eyes) and then I use the Johnson's spray-on detangler after tubby. My dd has very thin hair, too (but lots of it), so it tangles easily. The detangler is a life-saver.

Thanks so much, ladies! I don't see any food in the drain...but yes, kind of a fishy smell. I just sprayed a vinegar/water solution all over it, and will also do the bleach during my next load, and look for the cleaner at the store. I'm so glad I have some ideas of how to address this now! We don't use the dishwasher often (we usually wash all our dishes by hand), but I have been using it a lot when dh is gone, and now I notice that it STINKS! Since I don't have a lot of auto-dishwasher experience, is there some kind of regular maintenance that I should be doing to keep it from stinking?

I wanted to add that I was able to print the Target coupons more than once! (Which came in handy because I wanted more than one Hasbro game, and I will be able to use both the Target and manufacturer's coupon for each one!)

I love Old Navy, too. The best is when you can happen upon their store when they have their 50% off clearance prices (they put a big red & white poster in the window). My heart skips a beat whenever I drive by and see that sign! Then I go crazy shopping.
