Congrats! I had the gender scan at 16 weeks and told girl, then again at 20 weeks. We went for a 4D and gender check at 27 weeks and told 300% girl. Just hope they got it right.

My girl nub at 12 weeks was totally straight& horizontal. I guess it an change though, as it's so early.

Lol, yeah even to my untrained it was pretty obvious when she showed us on the big screen in detail. Pics can look a bit distorted I guess sometimes.

Well I was told girl at 16 weeks and they confirmed it at 20 weeks then again at 27 weeks- I hope they are right but she said 300% and has never got it wrong apparently. She did our sons scans too.

A lot of professionals don't seem to even recognize the nub theory as accurate, however it proved accurate for me. My girl's nub was completely horizontal and my boys was above the 30 degrees angle, so hit and miss perhaps.

Had the gender scan at 16 weeks and told 150% a girl. Then at 20 weeks told girl again, but have a full 4D scan ina few days so will get her to triple check, third time/ show us again so we can do the nursery. My friend was told girl at 20 weeks, then back at 24 weeks for checks at the heart and told boy! - had an inexperienced sonographer, who didn't recognize the bits were tucked between babies legs! ah! very rare, but at an NHS scan they now will not say 100% as people have sued hospitals. I had the gender scan at 16 weeks and got them to reconfirm at 20 weeks and of course nothing had changed ( not possible :-) Still baby girl. Hope all goes well at your 20 week scan! exciting to know which to buy pink or blue!

Where do you live? The clinic I have used twice now for both my pregnancy has 100% current success rate in sexing babies accurately from 14 weeks we were informed. Told same thing- girl at 20 week scan and have a 4D scan at 26 weeks. Sonographer told us to buy as much pink as we liked :-)

I would say boy, angle is above 130. I think generally girls are over 150bpm. It's the only old wives tale my sonographer goes with and she says it's been accurate in all her cases.
