Re: I'm sitting here trying not to cry :( I'm just so sad.
I don't know about Ramzi but i thought that that theory was only any good when the US tech actually looks for it durin the scan? because we can't be sure how the tech had the probe and at what side of your body the placenta is..
I agree. Unless the tech tells you where your placenta is located, there's no way to know. You can't tell placenta location f...

Re: Pregnant after miscarriage. Somewhere to share your feelings when you're brave enough to try again........

Hi everyone! I'm sorry to be so slow updating, but I've had almost no internet time in the past week, and even when I can get on to check posts, I usually don't have free hands. [:)] I'm happy to see all the great updates from everyone while I've been away! Jacie Ann arrived at 8:38 pm on July 16, 19 inches and weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces. My med-free labor went nearly perfectly, breastfeeding is ...

Re: Minervasmom!

Sorry I didn't get this answered sooner. I ended up going into labor the next day! I got my doctor, no induction and a near perfect delivery. [:)] The house was a little messy, but I had all the important things finished. Your little girl should be here now too! I can't wait to hear about how everything went and see pics!

Re: Minervasmom!

I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable, lol! I have *horrible* sciatica pain in both legs, and she is so low it hurts to walk a lot of the time. Other than that it's not too bad. I'll live. [:)] I've never been this pregnant before, so this is all new to me. DD1 was three weeks early - but that was because of complications, so I'm happy to get farther along this time if it means I'll have a smoo...
Hi ladies!  Anyone here ever use a doppler? I'm considering getting one, but I don't want to get completely freaked out when/if I can't find the heart beat. Anyone have any experience with these?  Thanks!
I had a doppler, and I really wish I had never bought or used it. I was never able to hear anything on it - even at like 13 weeks. I'm not su...

Re: Pregnant after miscarriage. Somewhere to share your feelings when you're brave enough to try again........

Oh no! Sending lots of positive thoughts that everything is okay, and this just "normal" pregnancy spotting. I hope your doctor can get you in quickly for an u/s to see what is going on. (((Hugs)))

Re: Pregnant after miscarriage. Somewhere to share your feelings when you're brave enough to try again........

Yup, dd1 was born at 37w2d. But that was because my water broke because I'd developed a uterine infection (probably from a cervical check - so I am declining ALL checks before labor begins this time!).  I had a bunch of complications with her labor because of that. So this time around, I'm happy to go longer if it means I can avoid those problems. Of course, I'm hoping dd2 will still c...

Re: Pregnant after miscarriage. Somewhere to share your feelings when you're brave enough to try again........

Vendela: Your bump is so cute! You look great! Outnumbered: Yay for a great scan! I'm so happy for you! FCM: I'm feeling pretty good for being almost 38 weeks. Baby is really low, though, so it is hard to walk without hurting, and I wake up multiple times a night to pee, lol! I'm in no huge hurry for her to be born, but dh and I are hoping she will come on his birthday (the 12th). We might take ...

Re: 2nd loss at 16 weeks

I am so, so sorry for your losses. (((Hugs)))  I can imagine how painful it must be to lose a baby at 16 weeks, and twice in a row is just so very, very unfair. [:(] I really hope you will get some miscarriage testing done before you try again, though. I think your doctors' advice that you just "try again" and describing the m/c's as a "weird occurrence" is really wrong. It is NOT normal to ...

Re: Pregnant after miscarriage. Somewhere to share your feelings when you're brave enough to try again........

Outnumbered: Yeah for good beta numbers! I know in the first trimester, good appointments don't help with anxiety for long -- but it is encouraging that everything is going as it should so far.  Congrats on your little girl, Sindy! She is darling! I've been thinking about you a lot and hoping that everything was going well for you and you've just been too busy to sign in. [:)]   ...

Re: Recovering from m/c
I have no idea if my miscarriage was related to a blood clotting issue....I had a blighted ovum. Not sure if I really need the aspirin...I've had two healthy children without the use of baby aspirin. Can you develop blood clotting issues? I had my 2 boys in my 20's, I am now 32. Thanks so much for getting back to me ladies! I want so much to be excited about this pregnan...
