Oooh good ideas! Shadow box idea is a great one. We've got just a normal box for each of the boys where we've put 'stuff' in, little keep sakes, but I really like the idea of framing the first few things. I'm going to look into that.
I have a journal that I'm trying to write in but I find sleep often comes first- it's on my bedside so I used to write a few lines before sleep. Maybe I need to mo...

Milo is now 1week old today. I'm very mindful of the fact that this stage is going to pass so quickly and we don't want to have anymore babies so I want to make the most of it all.
We're going to have some professional photos done, I know people also do the hand and foot prints but I'm interested to know other ways people treasure these moments.
What do you do to 'treasure the newborn momen...

Wow we both had our boys on the same day how funny. Huge congratulations to you. Sounds like you did brilliantly. And they're one week old today, now that feels weird- how can it be?!?! One week already!
I hope you're getting on ok. Did you have stitches or episiotomy? I had to have both which are still very so...

Hi Jamie, can't believe you're still here! I don't have any experience of 'true' induction but last time I had a sweep which worked (have you had that?) also had 2 sweeps this time and was labouring at 3cms but contractions were still irregular and so had yet another sweep, got to 4cms, contractions every 2mins dreadful pain but wasn't considered 'true' labour still. Finally at 5cms they broke wat...

Oooh the wait is awful! But you need to rest up, sounds like you're busy, my midwife said baby won't come if you're too busy. That said, you hear so many methods and so much advice when no one can really help because all you really want is your baby! Good luck hon x

Oh no! I hope you're not the olny one too! That must be a horrid feeling. You're so near now though and there is still chance things will happen before induction. I heard a few new tricks- wear your best knickers, sods law says it'll happen when you've got them on. The other was sit down and watch a weapy film, not sure why but hey... I'm guessing you're at the point of giving -anything- a go. Can...

Ahh thanks everyone! He is brilliant and we're also loving the name. Think 'Milo' goes with 'Ozzy' nicely too. Melody still nothing?!?! You must be getting so frustrated now, it -will- be soon though just remember everyday you're one step closer to your beautiful bundle of sleeplessness:-) sleep now while you (almost) can!!!! If you're not too uncomfortable and can sleep, really really do it now....

Monday 22nd November 04.27am Milo entered the world. I was in labour from Friday evening (after 2 sweeps) until Monday. That was quite distressing but we all got through it. He weighed 7lbs and has lots of dark hair. And a successful VBAC!!!! I'm so delighted I got to experience that, bit sore now but hey...
Feeding is a struggle, my milk still isn't through so he's a once an hour man so I'm g...

So after all the raspberry leaf tea in china, tons of hot n spicy food, miles of long walks and 2 stretch and sweeps, things finally seem to be happening but it's veeeeeerrrrrrrryyyy slow progress- 3cms dilated but contractions every 4mins. Lots of pain and blood loss so in hospital being monitored. Thought last night was going to be 'the night' but all calmed down so fingers crossed for some more...
