My baby was due 25 Oct but I had a few dates during the pregnancy. Turns out she liked the last one best, she was born on 2nd Nov - Melbourne Cup Day in Australia.
My birth went the way I wanted (no meds, birthing pool, very little interference) but I found that it was terribly traumatic regardless. I had some very strange feelings for a few days afterwards. The best thing for me (apart fr...

OMG she is gorgeous!!! I love a little folded up newborn. We watch my new baby Rosalie like TV. The only one not hypnotized is my son, but that's because he is hypnotized by the xbox!
Congratulations though, so cool that our little late Oct babies came on the same day.

Thanks everyone for telling me of your experiences. I had a look on the internet (google images) and suspect that my baby's tie is minor and they may not do anything with it. She might even be latching better now as my nipples seem to be healing. It still takes a while to feed and she is still windy.
I will make the appt and see what happens but I am glad to hear some experiences that make t...

Hi, has anyone had any experience with this? Advice, reassurance? Not looking forward to this wee angel being snipped...
As far as i can see she doesn't have a major problem, but it is making feeding more difficult (latch and wind) and destroying my nipples!
We will be seeing a doctor next week. She is 5 days old.
Any advice, information from experienced mums appreciated.

Thanks for your replies, I feel a bit better today. It looks like we are all waiting on girl babies. My sister and I both kept my mum waiting two weeks after the due dates. My son was 9 days early. I should have concentrated on my later date even though the midwife said the earlier one was more accurate. My fear is that she will go over and I will be pressured to induce, something I want to ...

Hi, I haven't posted here in the Oct forum, but have been watching enviously as ladies are having their lovely babies.
I am due on the 25th (by last period) but also had another due date earlier on in the pregnancy of 31 Oct (may have been based on scan?). Regardless of dates, I am seriously struggling with the last week/s, just want to sleep right through, am over-analyzing every twinge an...

Hi, I'm just throwing in an idea from my experience (please disregard if not helpful). When I was younger I constantly wore higher heeled boots, nothing excessive but nowhere near flat. When I went to wear runners for a change my calves were painful. My calf muscles had shortened from the height of my boots day after day.
I wonder if he is starting to walk a bit more flat footed and is fee...

I am 32 weeks, I have had some too - off and on. I don't remember it from my last pregnancy either. Guessing that in the weeks prior to birth the body is getting ready. Has your baby been active still? That's what I am focusing on for piece of mind through all the other aches and pains! If you are really concerned give your midwife/Dr a call?? Good luck,Meg...

This is my 12+4 NT scan:All guesses were for girl (and a couple of fence sitters). Baby was confirmed girl via amnio, and I'll post a 20 week shot I found next (can't seem to post both here??).
