My baby boy's nursery is light blue and pale lavender. The accent
colors are pastel and very babish. I wanted to stay away from boy
themes, as it would not help my GD. Jennifer Lopez has a beautiful baby
nursery for her BG twins.

Hello ladies, I had my son Amari last friday. It was a very hard labor and I had a migraine from the epidural for the past week. Tues. I was admitted to the hospital for IV-drip. So, on top of being gender disappointed, I was sick. I didn't get a chance to breast feed; the baby begin to respond more to my mom than me and my husband was a big jerk...he went back to work after only 2 days off....

that's so sad. people give boys a bad rap. time for some postive boy loving energy to come your way.

i think there is a post about 'a study' relating to that in the gender prediction ultrasound forum. something like: right side = boy, left side = girl.

in the real estate world a colored sink and toilet [especially pastels] usually dates the place. however, i think a black, tan or navy sink and toilet would look great. home depot has colored sinks, tubs and toilets on display...well not all colors :) good luck with your search.

It's was so nice of you to share your story and provide advice. I think most of the ladies on here have found comfort knowing that they are not alone in their desires for a certain gender. This may be the only outlet they have to express their true feelings, which in time can heal the wound of a dream that has been deferred or eliminated. To suggest that we are pining after a girl seems a bit inse...

3 dots can also be an umbilical cord too, depending on the angle. if you didn't see the hambuger lines, then they could be wrong. I would wait to get confirmation from a professional or a more seasoned u/s reader. best wishes!

try to go with more gender neutral colors, something contemporary. anything too pink and princess will probably upset you. better yet, have the shower at a nice restuarant or a club, that way you will not have to decorate. try not to get to down about it, you will get through it and someday you can have your own dream baby girl shower.
