I wish I had some encouraging words to make you feel better. But know that a lot of woman on here feel the same way you do. Just because we don't have our desired gender doesn't make us bad mothers. We love our children but just can't get over the fact we didn't get our desired gender. Our dream child!

Didn't want to be a lurker on this one. Sometimes it just depends on what I want to say if I post or not. Most of the time it has already been said. And sometimes I just keep quiet afraid I will upset the poster by making them more sad. GD sucks and I would hate to make someone feel worse than they already do. A lot of times I don't have anything encouraging to say because I haven't figured o...

Mine has been ripping his off since he was 8 months old. Thankfully he has never eatten the poo. Eeww!! But diaper changes with him is a huge battle. But I just know one day he is going to start grabbing and then stick his fingers in his mouth. No kisses for him after that! LOL!

Yeah I'm in the US. I usually stay away from the Gap and Babies R Us because they are so dang expensive. But I'll go look it may be worth the money to get something really cute that I'll love.

Baby Gap has REALLY good clearance sales. One summer I got almost everything my son wore off the clearance racks there and it...

I sometimes take a shower with DS#2 who is 13 months. I stopped taking a shower with DS#1 when he looked down and asked where my penis was. I figured it was time to cover a bit. DH takes a shower with both of them. That is actually easier than giving both a bath!

My DS#2 is 13 months old. I understand the whole thing about boys discovering their parts and its all normal, nothing sexual blah blah blah...
But the moment I take his diaper off, he just goes to town, like he kneeding a piece of dough! And it is a struggle to change dirty diapers. He just won't stop and trying to get his diaper back on is a struggle! It is like he is obsessed with him...

DS#1 tries to westled with his brother. His brother is only 13 months though, so I tell him no. He is still a baby and can hurt him. He does do the gun noises though. And growl and roaring like monsters and dragons. Drives me nuts!!!! I have tried so hard to tell him he needs to do that outside, but he just doesn't listen. I don't know where he picked all this up. He still watches Elmo. Elmo doesn...

Well I know it won't change anything or make you feel better. But I do know exactly how you feel. I love my boys! But all I wanted was a daughter. And I won't get her. And I feel like I got 2nd prize! I want the damn bows and dresses and giving me some barbie to play with is not the solution. And yes I realize not all girls are frilly! But I at least wanted the option to make her that way. So...

It has been a busy month, so I didn't post when Andrew turned a year old on June 12. The year went by too quickly. He is doing great! Eats anything he can get his hands on. We have transitioned to a sippy cup. But still give him a bottle at night. He is not walking yet but likes to stand. I am not in a hurry though. My 4 year old keeps me busy enough. Not ready to run after 2 boys yet. He cha...

They do grow up too quick! Mine was born June 12. I can't believe he turned 13 months yesterday. Where did the year go? Is Peyton walking?
Mine is not. He really doesn't cruise much either. He just likes to stand and bounce!

I don't know how to get past it. I am still waiting. Life is so unfair. You wonder why some people get everything they want and others don't. What makes them so special and not us. I sometimes hear that it makes you a stronger person. Well honestly, I am tired of being a stronger person. I will say lots of prayers that you get your daughter!!!!!!!!

I had both my boys done. They were done the day after they were born. DS#1 was fine. He heeled quicker than his belly button. DS#2 they bruised up pretty good. He screamed at every diaper change. He still healed quicker than his bely button. Just keep lots of vaseline on him and don't use baby wipes if he is really sensitve. Just use a wet cloth. He will be fine and won't remember a thing.

FARMERSWIFE - If I had a friend like you, that would be the most wonderful "gift" anybody could give me. The joy I would recieve from doing just pigtails would be irreplacable! What a great friend you are!!!

My sons daycare teacher knows how badly I wanted girls. As she badly wanted boys. I got a picture last week of my son in pigtails. It was the most adorable picture!! I called her up immediate and told her she needed to find him a dress. I got a picture the next day of him in pigtails and a pink dress with bloomers. OMG, he is adorable! My mom even said he makes a beautiful girl!!! I don't thi...

I work full time. Have two boys in day care full time. Its tough. I worked the day I delivered DS#2. Got off work at 4:30 had him that night. It is tough to be so drained. I took naps in my car at lunch time. Even if it was for 20 minutes. It didn't take the tired feeling completely away, but it helped. I just reminded myself the more time I stay at work, the more time I can take off when the ba...

My 4 yr old goes to bed at 8pm and we wake him up for daycare at 6:30am. My 12 month old likes to go to bed at 7pm, but sometimes we can't get him in bed then, so closer to 8pm some nights. We wake him up at 6:30 also. On weekends they both sleep in until about 7. 7:30 if we are lucky! ha ha! They are both excellent sleepers, only wake up in the middle of the night if they are sick.

I would say write two entries. Mine army crawled for 3 months before he truly got up on his knees and took off. So he didn't really crawl until he was 11 months old. He just turned 1 on the 12th. On the 13th, he stood by himself for about 5 seconds. I don't think he realized he let go of my leg. Ha ha! He hasn't done it since. So I really can't say he stands by himself. I just write in the first t...

Prebaby - definitely a girl
Now - still definitely a girl
I have two boys. And so far, as much as I love my oldest son, he drives me nuts. As far as my little son, he is still too young to judge yet. I guess some days I think I am at a point where I could easily say no babies and run away! I don't know what having a baby girl is like. ANd I am sure many of you on here can tell me they are just a...

It depends. At daycare my DS#1 will always eat. At dinner it depends on what we are serving. Most dinners are a major struggle. Then an hour later he says he is hungry. So sorry kiddo, you should have eatten your dinner! My DS#2 has been on table food almost 3 months. He will eat anything at anytime. Which is a great because at almost a year old he is only 16lbs 6 oz.

My DS#1 will be 4 in 2 weeks. Oops, I still put his shoes on for him. Guess I always thought it was just quicker that way. Maybe I should make him do it himself, but he can't tie yet either.

Well he is 11 months today. I am sad, I don't want my baby to grow up. This year has gone by way to quickly. He is eatting mostly table food. In fact last night I gave him babyfood and he spit it out. He does not do a traditional crawl, he army crawls. He does pull himself up on anything he can. Doesn't cruise yet. I am not in any hurry for walking. He is still a little fella, 16lbs 6 oz. No big b...

Mine is 10 months but will be 11 months in a little less than a week. He does not do a traditional crawl. He likes to army crawl. He does pull himself up on almost everything he can now. He shakes his head no, but I don't really think he knows what that means yet. He does say Mama, Dada, Ba ba and Nana, still not sure if he knows what those mean either. He can eat almost any table food. He ha...
