Joshua arrived yesterday August 23rd at 5:09pm 6lbs 2oz 19in after 17 hours of labor! Labor started a little after 10pm Sunday night. Called Midwife at 2am she was here by 4am but things were going slow. It dragged on and on all day long. Contractions weren't that bad but my cervix was taking it's time. I had 4 1/2 hours of contractions last night that were fairly regular and getting more painful at some points. I took a shower at 1am and they started to go away and then I went to sleep finally at 3am and now nothing since.....I am so mad.

I can't stop pooping today.....hopefully it's a sign. Had my 38 week appt yesterday and Joshua was WAY down there. My midwife didn't do an internal exam but she could feel his shoulder from the outside where his head was 2 weeks ago that's how low he's dropped! She guessed he's at -1 station but you can't know for sure without an internal exam but she said either zero or -1. ...
