Re: POLL: For those of you who had BFP's.........(HT only)

I didn't respond cuz have not had a BFP, but I think there is a factor with age and ovarian reserve with Menopur.... If you are young, won't much matter

My old doc is on TLC

I am in a hotel room in Albuquerque NM (here for work) and I was switching channels and saw that my old doc (Dr. Boostanfar) is the Little Couple's RE.  I went to the website and watched some old clips of him and HRC Fertility at Encino (it really is a very nice surgical center).  How fun!

Re: GSN on IG is 50/50!

There is a HUGE meta analysis paper on PGD in Fertility and Sterility this month that looks at all forms and I am trying to get for all of you (have to pay for it, but I think I may be able to get at work).  It outlines the who should do PGD (age range 38-43) and what chromosomes to look at.  I do think GSN is a good technology but I would have liked to use it in a multi-cycle situ...

Re: Bravelle Menopur?? New protocol?

Some docs dont use Menopur for women like me (older! LOL) because it is derived from Menopausal women ... apparently it is too harsh on our old eggies?? Also I was told that Bravelle is derived from urine and can contain other unidentified proteins in it (they dont use it in the UK for that reason)Can you tell I have been talking to a lot of docs!  I used them both in the past but my cy...

Anyone store Estradiol Valerate in the refridgerator?

When I did not use all of my medication from my last cycle I threw it all in the refridgerator.  i was looking at it today and noticed that the Estradiol Valerate had a "do not refridergate" on it.  I called the pharmacist and they said not to use but when I was looking it up on the internet sometimes they said refriderate.  I know it is an oil based med used intramuscularly.&...

Re: Wow someone is really angry at me!

One of the things this GD thing can do is make already "hurt" people more hurt.  I was just thinking about how there can be this pissy competitiveness on this site and every time I see it, every stinking time, I think and then there is Michaela - who has more reason to NOT encourage or support and yet you do and who has every right to be mad and mean and yet you are not!  So when I...
