Looked again and I am nearly positive that is tailbone we are seeing. Baby could still very well be a girl and I'm sure the tech saw it better during the scan but I don't think this pic shows gender.

I don't see any thighs (which are essential for a toilet bowl gender pic to be accurate, imo) in this picture so I can't really say for sure. Congrats on your baby.

I think it would be odd to put an initial instead of the name and I wouldn't seeing it as honoring anyone. An initial is a letter, a name is a name. It is not the same thing.

The nub is the two tiny white lines at the end of the baby. I'm leaning girl but with the nub squished against the edge there it is hard to be sure.

Actually you can sell them on ebay now. For awhile it wasn't allowed but they changed the policy a bit so you just have to disclose that they are used or something along those lines. If you go to seller FAQ's I beleive the info's in there.

I was not offered the screening with any of my pregnancies (from 2000 to 2009). And honestly, I didn't even know it existed before discovering this board in 2007. I requested to have it done with my most recent pregnancy as I wanted to know sooner rather than later if there were any concerns with the baby. I just started cloth diapering in June and I really wish I had started sooner. It makes me feel good each time I put cloth on dd and I don't even mind the washing. Thay are super easy to use as well, especially if you get pocket diapers or flip covers and inserts.
