Re: How do you handle comments about family size?

Hi - I've got 5 children and am yet to be the victim of any nasty / thoughtless comments (I know it'll happen sooner or later though). I'll shrug any negativity off but deep down it's bound to hurt. I just hope I can show people that just because I have lots of children, my house can still be beautiful, my children well mannered and well behaved and myself well turned out ....... well I'll do my v...

Re: Nearly Christmas Eve and feeling really down

Honestly, I thought he was going to do a runner! It took him a while to accept and even now, although he loves them, I know there's a big element of resentment hanging in the air as most of my time is taken up caring for the babies and the other kids - plus most of our money!! He loves me though (thank God! Otherwise I'd be well and truly on my own) and he knows we'll get more time together when ...

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

Cranberry juice and supps make your CM acidic, but the reason why this happens is because your body is trying to counter everything you're putting into it! Sounds crazy but the best thing to do is to have a read of the FAQ section, it explains it really well in there :-)

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

No - I've never heard of it but I'm guessing it's highly acidic? This is actually the exact opposite of what you want to be doing. You need to be on a highly alkaline diet so your body counterbalances this by becoming more acidic by itself. I hope that makes sense!!

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

Um, I think it was just the calibrating fluid you need but that's not expensive. Basically you'll just need 2 pots of fluid. I have one pot which is 5.56 and one that's 0.01. I make sure that when I dip the tester into these pots it gives the correct reading and that's how I now it's working properly. From memory they also tried to sell me some storage liquid but I never bothered with this. I just...

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

Super busy I am!!! I love it though - a house full of children this time of year is fun :-) The ph strips are not great. They are pretty inaccurate to be honest. I wasted loads of money on them and then invested in a Hanna digital. It'll cost you about £30 - £40 but it's so accurate it's worth it's weight in gold. It's so accurate. A lot of girls on here use them.

Re: Shettles V's O+12? Can't decide and this is our last shot at it.

Hi again, I replied to your other post too :-) I got my 2nd son following shettles so I don't believe in it at all. I think that getting your ph down really low (mine was around 5.5 when I conceived my girls and my DH's was 7.8 I think) is one of the most important things you can do. I did it by drinking loads and loads of diet 7up (or any other aspartame based caffeine free diet soft drink), drin...

Re: Name help? Pleeeease!

Hey hon, was just about to comment saying I like both but prefer Kyndal or Kendall. A Bj refers to a blow-job, you probably know what this means but just in case, it's the act of a woman giving a man oral sex. Bj is a common abbreviation so the initails BJ are probably best avoided :-)

Sorry - I can't see any clues in this shot :-(

Re: what do you think??Boy or girl- image 18 weeks/2days

I've just gone through some of the girl potty shot gallery pics and there are a couple which look like yours :-) I've tried to post the link to one but it won't load. Have a look I think it might put your mind at rest :-)

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

Gosh from memory you start using the cream from the say you ovulate till the day AF comes / you get your BFP. If you are PG though you must carry on using the cream for a couple of months and wean off it really slowly. To be brutally honest I don't think it's the most important thing you can do as part of your sway (others may disagree) if I was swaying pink again I wouldn't bother with it. Do yo...

Re: Nearly Christmas Eve and feeling really down

Hey hon, I could of written your post a couple of years ago. In fact, I did. My first post on here 4 years ago was almost identical to yours. So first of all, I completely, 150% percent understand what you are going through. I too had 2 boys, desperately wanted a girl and my hubby had also said he didn't really want any more kids but after a year of nagging and begging he gave in and said "one mor...

Re: what do you think??Boy or girl- image 18 weeks/2days

Hmmmm, this has thrown me a little. I'm not seeing the classic 3 lines indicating a girl BUT it doesn't look like a classic boy shot either. Do you have any other photos or a nub shot from 12 weeks??

Re: For all those ttc Girl in Jan 2013 or beyond...

Hi girls, I just stumbled across your thread. I just wanted to wish you all the very best of luck in swaying for your DD's. I swayed really hard for 10 months and conceived 3 girls last year so if there's any advice I can help you with based on my own experience just ask. I'm NO expert or anything - just happy to help if I can. This site and the girls on it were a God-send to me when I was in your...
