No I wasn't taking herbs just a remedy that he gave me. If you are ttc a girl you need to be "yin" and to start with I was quite "yang" which is more in favour of boys. GL

Well I was ttc for well over 1 year. I started going for acupuncture and I fell pregnant on my second month of trying. I went for 5 months in total but didn't try for the first 3 months because the acupuncturist said that he could improve my "yin", with a remedy, which would sway for a girl 65%. Has your child ever guested correctly, when you were pregnant, as to what the gender was? My 2 year old keeps telling me that I am having a boy!! He does change his mind now and again but usually say boy. What is the best age to ask your child? Is 2 too young?

Does anybody believe in any OWT's? I was clinging into the heartbeat one but people are saying that is a hit or a miss????

I had an early scan with this pregnancy at 8 weeks and the heartbeat was 154 bpm. Does this mean anything so early on? I know the owt says anything above 140 "usually" indicates girl - fingers crossed!!!

Do you know what mylittle guy?? You are absolutely right - I could have written your post myself. I am so stressed out reading all the OWT's that I actually said my my DH that I wish I hadn't gone for a 3rd baby. How awful I am to say that? I tried for this baby for so long and now I am so down, and feeling unwell, that I am just getting myself very upset by this OWT. ...

Thank you olivianext that makes me feel a bit better - I think!! I do have cloudy urine in the morning but then it is pretty clear for the rest of the day. One of my freind had clear urine all the way through and she had a girl so maybe I will just have to stop looking!! [:P]

Sometimes your mind can play tricks on you and you "think" you are having period pains. I was convinced af was on the way the month I got my bfp but only because I had it in my head that I wasn't pregnant. You are still very early so fingers crossed you see that blue line over the next few days - I am sure you will. x

I am feeling very down at the moment. I keep reading that everyone who has had girls had cloudy urine and everyone who had boys has clear urine. I have asked a few of my friends who have girls and 90% of them said they had cloudy urine. I have cloudy urine in the morning but then every time I check throughout the day it is clear. Does this mean another DS for me do you thin...

OK girls... Who BD'ed through O and still conceived a girl? Because I was swaying for so long I did BD through O. I just hope and pray that I did enough, with the 7 other sway factors, that I will still get a girl being as timing is the least important sway.

If you are in the UK I used to drink Tesco Lighter Choices Cranbery and Raspberry juice. Other than that I think it is Ocean Spray light.

Have you been for your beta yet? I am so nervous - you would think it was me who was going for it!! My pregnancy is going well (touch wood) thank you. I went to Perth on Saturday for an early scan. Fingers crossed for you. The line is much darker at the 9 day test. Why don't you try a different type of pregnancy test? Why do you think that it might not work out if you have positive tests?? Think positive!! GL xxx
