I was in the same boat once. I was having 3 boys and my best friend and my SIL both waited so long before even thinking about children, they thought they should enjoy life long enough without children and then both got pregnant right away with off course a DD. I was so jealouse, how could life be so mean to me, I wanted a dd since I was in my early 20 and...

If that's her only reason, I think it's nonsense, especially when you never had problems with bleeding. I've never heard it before, where I live home-births are very usual. I did a homebirth twice and I really can recommend it. I recently gave birth to my fourth (in hospital because I had to be induced) but my bleeding was not more than the other three times.

I've put the word Blessed in my signature because I meant I was lucky and grateful, not that others are not Blessed. I felt GD very badly. English is not my first language and I am not a religious person, so maybe I am offending people with this signature. Do you think I should change it?

Sorry to read you're in pain. You are doing everything you can, if BF doesn't work there is nothing wrong with a bottle. My opinion: Better a happy mother with no pain than a stressed mother who is in pain trying to give BF. But maybe you girls in the US have another idea about this.
