I got my period 3 months after my son's birth. I was exclusively breastfeeding & wasn't too happy. [:-)]

After nearly 4 nights of back labor, having dilated to 4cm, my water finally broke at 4am on Saturday morning. We rushed to the hospital and I was already 7cm. By 6:30, I progressed to 8cm, but I never made any additional progress-even with the use of pitocin. Thanks...4 cm now and still waiting and waiting. This baby girl has her own timeframe in mind despite having my membranes swept twice already! : )

She is beautiful. I'm so glad you are on some Zoloft and in therapy. I imagine talking about things will be of great help. We are all here thinking of you and Halle constantly. I hope that your son and husband are also hanging in there. Hugs!

Thought I might have this little girl over the weekend. I went to the doctor on Thursday and was 3cm dilated with a very soft cervix. No such luck...I walked and walked, did squats, but nothing. Off to see him again today. I still feel good, but it would be nice for her to come. We are eager to meet her.

What a beautiful baby girl she is. You are in my thoughts and prayers a lot and I will continue to hope that Halle remains asymptomatic and lives a completely normal life. Hang in there. I know this is a great challenge in every regard. I hope you have a wonderful support system who are there for you. Big hugs to you and your family!

I think it's a pretty personal decision and some of it needs to be based on previous experience and your instincts. Since I dialated to 10 and had a c-section because I was induced, I feel like I want to try a VBAC. I can't say I would feel the same way had I tried before. It sounds like you have a very good plan in place. I'm not sure if you've seen all the media focus on VBACs this week, but there is a conference about them. I have a feeling the take away is going to be that C sections are done far too often. Your case, sounds like one of the most legit C sections I have heard about. I hope you get your wish for a VBAC this time around.
