Re: O + 12 vs. Shettles- Which are you doing or which gave you your desired outcome?

Hi ladies!I keep changing my mind on this one too [:^)]Kind of leaning towards O+12 at this point, because my cycles are very irregular (cutoff really hard to achieve!) and also my pH does drop dramatically after O. But I'm still researching and looking forward to hearing from everybody what they did!One thing I did decide though. If I go for "O+12" I am planning to start with O+18 or my best esti...

Re: Gentle Swaying Resulted in Girl!!

CONGRAAAAATS!!! [HC] So happy for you! And a few questions:1. Did you do O+12 with abstinence and how long? Or it was frequent release, or ???2. What did you do to pinpoint O+12?3. Did you use any supplements at all (other than Vitex) or you chnaged your diet in any way?TIA and have fun buying PINK!!! [DD]

Re: A possible O+12 case...my story

CONGRATULATIONS !!! [HC]And thanks very much for sharing! I suppose you didn't do anything to sway (e.g. took cranberry, or so)? What a good case for O+12! [:)]

Re: I am having an oops baby! What do you think of my non-attempt?

This looks very good to me, actually! Replens, cutoff, low pH, long abstinence, all good girl factors! Also, OPKs were always spot on for me, so I don't think you ovulated earlier. GL, hope you get your girl!!! [GLC][DD]

Re: clomid days 5-9 for a girl

The recent poll shows that it seems to help sway for a girl. (At this point there are 12 votes, 3 boys, 5 girls, 4 unknowns or m/c). http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/t/38254.aspx BTW, if you took clomid and missed this poll, please vote [:)]

Re: Clomid poll

Just hoping there's more people who could answer this poll. Also, if you took clomid please tell us what were the CDs (looks like some people do 3-7, or maybe 5-9... is there any difference?)TIA!

Re: What kind of diet were you on when you weren't swaying, and what did you conceive?

When DS was conceived I ate a fair amount of potatoes and tomatoes, and a banana every morning topped with orange juice.BUT, I never ate a lot of meat (say 2 servings a week or so) + I never liked very salty food. I also love cheese and was even taking Ca supplements at the time (my mom had just started having issues with osteoporosis, so I was really scared [:(]). I think that orange juice s...

Re: I Got My Girl

CONGRATULATIONS !!! [HC]And, WOW, you used so many things! So, when did you start with rephresh every day? Did you ever use rephresh and acijel on the same day?  Was it like 1st rephresh, then all the douching around every attempt and then acijel in the end, pretty much every day?No wonder your cervix was sore... But it was all worth it! [hearts]

Re: people ttc a girl will you please stop swimming?

I agree this would be a good post for faq, but before it gets there let's clarify a few more things [8-|]So DW should go kayaking or fishing [;)], and what should DH do? Can he swim? Does his behavior in/around water affect the sway in any way?In the end of the day, DH takes a hot shower. From the previous post it appears that it's safe for DW to shower but she should use soap very sparingly ...

Re: since our skin absorves EVERYTHING we put on it....

Really? I thought that negative ions in the water would help for ttc girl...So, what am I missing?...

Re: since our skin absorves EVERYTHING we put on it....

DARN! [:O]I was going to soak in a tub since I thought water would have negative ions - so good girl sway!!! If I soak in a tub with no soap, it should be a girl sway, right? Any suggestion on what I could add to the water for the best girl sway?

Re: Can't decide between cut-off and O+12 so what do you think of this plan? Tamara or anyone?

Another woman in agony wants to wish you good luck! [GLC][DD]I was going to go for O+12 since it seems easier for me to figure out when I Od than to predict the cutoff (my periods are so irregular) + my pH is lower after O.But I do have a problem with the O+12 "race", so to say, I do think it's better if you could manage to expose y sperm to low pH  for days and give a chance to xs to ma...

Re: Watering plants good for ttc girl?

[Y]  Looks like things are lining up for you! GL! [GLC][DD]I'm moving to a new house soon... and now thinking of getting many more plants [;)]

Re: Watering plants good for ttc girl?

Did you do all this when your DSs were concieved (watering so many plants, working with running water in the pet store...)?

Re: update on my ph (so excited)

WOW - I'm so impressed too!And where did you get these  pH strips? Mine have only two boxes, I feel I'm missing out on something... [+o(]Thanks! And good luck!!!

Re: Can someone translate this? (estrogen dominance)

"It seems that when a woman’s body is too acid, it produces too much estrogen and not enough progesterone." OMG - this is disturbing!  If this is true, it means that if we do acidifying girl diet, it might increase our estrogen, which is sooo boy friendly!!! Maybe we shouldn't overdo cranberry, after all??? [:P]

Re: My 1st attempt today TTC Girl, 0+12

Also want to wish you GL! [XX][GLC]And curious to hear how did you pinpoint O? Sounds like ovacue was of most help... did you use it more than once a day? Thanks!

Re: AMA+Swaying= Less chances of conceiving?

I am 35 and I will be swaying BIG TIME [:D] Getting PG with DS was sooo easy (at 33) that I couldn't belive it... Wish I knew a thing or two about swaying at the time, so I wouldn't be eating bananas, BDing a day before O and hoping for pink. [rofl]Please don't do that after you've been here! GL!!!

Re: Well, the results are in (20 week u/s today)...

CONGRATULATIONS, Amity!I think you had the best ttc pink attempt I ever saw, so the cute little guy must have made it for a reason [:)]Hope you'll enjoy your [DS] [DS] and also hope that [DD] is in your future!
