I know its been a while since I have been on here, but I am so busy with Colby, it is unreal. I want to congratulate(sp?) each and evey one of you ladies that made any sort of peep about this test, FINALLY, we are getting somewhere. I got my paperwork from the attorney's today.

I guess this IUD is popular. My midwife suggested it and i had mine put in last week, boy was i crampy for a few days. The only one she will take is the one I got from the hospital, the soothie. I know thumb sucking can be bad, but there are so many opinions on it out there. Colby was sucking her thumb in the womb, as we saw on the ultrasounds, and now that she is almost 2 months, I can tell this would be a great pacifier for her, but she can't seem to get her thumb in her mouth. I can totally relate to all of you and the only thing I find that helps is to keep Colby upright on my shoulder for about a half hour, this helps her sleep and i think she gets too far into digestion to spit up, vomit or have any more gas...definitely more work for me and dad, but she sleep a lot better and so do i not having to listen for her choking, which scares the crap out of me. Colby Belle made her way into the world at 7:29 am this morning. She is very healthy. Feeds like crazy, sucks her thumb, and loves her daddy. She was 9 pounds 4 ounces and 21 inches long. The C-section was great after a long night of contractions.
I can't wait to email all the lawyers and journalists:o) I will poast some pics soon!

Ok C-section tommorow morning, 6am. I am very relieved, the baby is measuring almost 10 pounds! It won't be the natural childbirth I had hoped for but as long as Colby Belle is happy and heathly and here, that is all I can hope for. I will update you all as soon as I get the chance. Talk about being in suspense.
They have been trying to induce me since Thursday. I had 2 doses of miso Thursday, then I was sent home. I went back 7 am on Friday and had 3 doses. Plenty of contractions but my cervix is very posterior so still no baby. They sent us home Friday night to a home with no power since NH had windstorms and a few trees knocked down some power line...

I didn't even read into that. I thought what they were saying was that since they have followed through with all my retests and find no genetic abnormatities, i wouldn't need the heel stick, just the birth certificate. But you make a very valid point.
Again, I will just have to wait.
