It's our 4th boy. He's healthy, but looks like Darth Vader (according to DS1). We're all a little disappointed but DH and I are trying to put a postivie spin on it for the kids. It sounds like a stress dream caused by all the stuff you've been going through. Every delivery is different. Also, try not to stress too much about a c-section: I was super scared going into my first, but now I've had 3 and really they're much easier than it sounds like. But, the joy of holding your new baby will be there no matter how your delivery goes :)

I used the mini pill after both DS1 and DS3. As long as you're breastfeeding, it worked great for me. However, my periods didn't start again after birth (at least when nursing) until 10 months, 12 months, and 18 months (and I was on the mini pill the first and last times). I have my anatomy scan tomorrow! Ack! DH and the boys will all be there, too, so I hope I'll be ok if we hear boy again. I've really been trying to focus on the good, sweet things about my boys and keep that in mind. I wish I had a lovely bump like you ladies. When my babies start getting bigger, they squish everything else up so I just look fat across the upper and lower parts of my tummy, with a visible waistline in between. I, too, have been eating a fair amount of ice. It's one thing that's guaranteed to settle my stomach when I have nausea. I keep going back and forth between wanting salty and sweet. Despite the crazy amounts of dairy that I ate while on the girl diet, I've still been wanting more. A lot of cheese, too.

Timing is the least important factor. Your pH is great and you don't have much EWCM. If you're trying to get pregnant sooner rather than later, go for it, but take some sudafed first to really dry you up and then keep your pH low until you're sure you've ovulated. If you're not in a rush, you could wait.

There are some really great books out there that explain boy/girl differences and where babies come from. We got one for our oldest when he started kindergarten and really started getting interested in boy parts vs. girl parts. I totally understand - I've never really liked being pregnant, but the babies make it worth it :) I am looking forward to one more newborn, but I hope that the pregnancy goes by quickly.

LTB - I totally agree with you on the season helping to make MS worse. I seriously feel a lot more sick when I'm out in the heat than when I'm inside and cool and resting. Cold drinks and ice also help with my nausea. With a start weight of 120 and a healthy weight gain and loss with your first, I'm not sure why your ob is worried. Thinner women tend to gain more while pregnant than larger women (I'm normally about 180 or so, and gained just 14, 9, and 10 lbs with my 3). Just make sure you keep eating healthy and drink a lot of water. Also, have you had your gestational diabetes test yet? ...
